JACKSON CENTER —
State police charged a Mercer County man after finding a treasure-trove of drugs – including psychedelic mushrooms and LSD – Tuesday outside of Slippery Rock.

State police said they found a pound of hallucinogenic mushrooms, è-pound of marijuana, 200 hits of LSD, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia and $3,688 cash at about 1:30 p.m. when they executed a search warrant at 2 Suburban Lane, Slippery Rock Township.
Christopher Legas, 31, Jackson Center, was charged with possession of the bulk of the drugs and arraigned before a Butler County District Judge.
Police said they there were six people, including three women, two men and a boy at the residence when they served the search warrant.
All six were taken into custody without incident and police said they found the drugs and the money during their search of the home.
Also charged Tuesday were: Dena Demello, 33, Charlotte, Mich., who was charged with possession of marijuana; and Sierra Duncan, 23, Lawrence County, who was also charged with false identification and possession of controlled substances, police said.
Police said they expect to file misdemeanor drug charges against the others taken into custody.
Legas and Ms. Demello were taken to Butler County Jail after failing to pay bail of $25,000 and $5,000, respectively. Ms. Duncan was taken to the same jail on a detainer from Lawrence County probation. Police did not say why she was on probation.
