Pharmacology - Ecstasy + Cannabis = Something weird!?

Hello there!

The other weekend at the Summer Sound System music festival SWIM took 8 ecstasy tablets over a 2 day period. The result; 25 hours of dancing, chatting and generally having an amazing time!

When SWIM got back, he really fancied a nice spliff! So he sparked one up and smoked it. All was fine, then after 10 or so minutes, he started feeling like his head was going up and down in an egg-shaped circuit. SWIM said that the feeling was similar to "worm-holing" after having too much alcohol mixed with cannabis.

My question is, is the ecstasy the cause of SWIMs strange feelings?
The only other thing I can think of is that SWIM didn't eat very much whilst raving, could this have something to do with it?

p.s This feeling was present after smoking cannabis 1 day, 2 days and 3 days after the ecsasy was taken.

The combination of both the physical and psychological tolls of the ecstasy session. Psychedelics (and ecstasy/MDMA is a psychedelic) can produce HPPD effects. It isn't uncommon for cannabis to bring this out in days shortly after ecstasy use. Rest up, eat well. It's quite a normal reaction and isn't anything to worry about.

Mate there's no need to worry at all weird shit like that always happens when you smoke weed after pills/MDMA it's the same with SWIM

Wasn't too worried, all's back to normal now! May have also been caused by the ibobrufen i took for my bad foot?? Maybe?
