SWIM hasn't enjoyed cannabis in a year. Is it anxiety?
Hello all. SWIM has a little history and was wanting to know if his current problem is related to anxiety or something strangely else. It all started a year ago in which SWIM smoked Marijuana Heavily for months, then one night came home depressed and decided to smoke. SWIM smoked and felt very bad in the stomach, a weird sensation that started in the stomach and traveled to the chest. After a few minutes and trying to keep SWIMs mind off this weird new sensation and pain SWIM had a panic attack. Since this panic attack every time SWIM has tried to smoke SWIM gets weird intense sensations in the stomach area. Shortly after SWIM would get different sensations sober. Every time for a entire year that SWIM tried to smoke he would get these intense sensations. Soon enough SWIM had different but equally annoying sensations sober and not smoking. These sober sensations would be relieved with the Benzo Xanax. SWIM relied on Xanax heavily as for some days the sensations would be so intense it would paralyze SWIM unless SWIM used Xanax.
Here is the weird part, the sensations sober and when smoking MJ are completely different. They are much more intense when high and the sensation goes when the high goes. However, SWIM can take up to 6mg of Xanax and still get awful pains when smoking. SWIM was recently prescribed Lexapro and soon enough after 3 weeks on it all of SWIMS sober pains went away and SWIM discontinued the use and has been off of Lexapro for apprx 3 weeks. SWIM has not had an incident of anxiety type pains sober, however when smoking SWIM does.
SWIM thinks it has to be related to anxiety, however SWIM snorted a few lines of coke in two separate days and did not receive any weird or painful sensations as with smoking weed. If it was anxiety causing my pains wouldn't Coke bring them out more intense than ever? And to add to confusion I took 2mg of Xanax and smoked and didn't have any pains a few nights ago. I was so happy I smoked all the weed in sight, it was amazing, it's been a long time before I've actually enjoyed a real pain free high. Any advice?
Here's what I've done and I'll try to break it down.
1. I receive intense stomach sensations that get worse the more pot I smoke and the sensations are relieved slowly as my high goes away.
2. I have cooked pot, smoked pot, and drank pot (Green dragon), all had the same results, equal amounts of terrible sensations.
3. I still receive the same sensations when smoking on any amount mg Benzo 95% of the time, there are some weird exceptions, which about 5 times in which a year time frame I have not had a problem smoking.
4. I don't have anxiety towards people or anything, it's just something was was mental and it seemed the Lexapro "straighted" my sober mind out. I dont have any more weird sensations when sober as I used to.
5.I have tried Hydrocodones, etc to maybe think it was pain related which in actuality when I got high off them I had the same stomach pain.
6. I did Cocaine and did not receive any weird sensations.
Any advice? As many doctor visits and time has passed I feel as if I've been through the ringer and I don't know what the problem is. I love weed and the few times this year in which I had a successful high keep me driving towards fixing myself. Any advice?
