Opinions - New Researcher Usage Safety Question

My neighbor and his wife want to research the effect of methylone and have acquired 1 gram of the substance from a far away unknown source.

They have done much research and intend to start with about 125 mg each. They are worried though that no matter how much careful measuring they do, the substance could be something different than advertised. Their worst scenario would be that the substance is another RC that is effective at much lower dosages, say a substance that is effective at 5-20 mg (perhaps the supplier confused his shipments, etc).

They are worried because, while they both have enjoyed the more obvious RCs in the past, they both like light doses of the lighter substances.

Thus, even if they start at, say 50 mg, this would be WAAY too much if it is the wrong stuff.

These are nervous, middle aged people....

Any hints from the good people here would be very much appreciated....

If they're that unsure of what they've got - then the obvious solution is to start with 5mg. Wait a day.

Then 10.

Wait a day.

Then 30.

Wait a day

Then 50.

Etc.

If these people have acquired an entire gram and have concerns about its purity, a small dose (10-15mg) could be used to test to see a.) if another, more potent chemical is present, and b.) if any allergies to the substance exist. A very small dose to test purity and allergies is a good way to avoid a catastrophe. Better yet, have the sample run through a GC/MS series of readings and really know the purity!

Good advice above.

How long would they wait between test doses? Say between doing 5 mg and then 50 mg and then 100 mg.

I.e., to see if the "methylone" is really 2c-i or something. Of course, it is more likely to be gatorade if not methylone but, as I said, these are cautious people.

jesus, don't take your heart and life so easily people. Methylone is one of the most commercially available RC's out there, it is easily attained at a high purity for low cost.

if the chemical is not created by a quality or even good lab swim would do what shampoo suggested or try running a reagent test to test it. If the substance is a 2c-x then swiy probably should refrain from using this source and look elsewhere...

(not trying to price discuss or source share, just stating the obvious)
