Smoking - Opium Leafs

SWIM read that there only opium in the 10 first cm from the pod here.

When ppl say making tea or smoke the leafs is good, what do you get from it if only the opium is in the 10 first cm?


SWIM is very new with this plant, and dont know where and how to get the diffrent drugs of it...
Is it like that morphin is in the roots or is morphin a part of opium?

SWIM has no experience with chemistry:P


SWIM has seen "Wild Opium" on legal drugs store online, and it looks like lefs...is it simply dried opium leafs?
And what is a normal dose?

From what SWIM understands, "Tea" is usually made from the pod/stem that has been ground up in a coffee grinder (usually 2-3 pods) and then steeped in tepid water. Some folks also make tea if they have a crap load of seeds by soaking them in water.

Morphine is made from the latex, it requires an extensive process to turn opium into morphine, heroin, codeine, hydrocodone, etc... Think of Opium as the main ingredient for refining it into other opiate drugs.

The wild opium would be wild opium lettuce. It isn't related to opium at all. It is a strain of lettuce that grows wild and it also produces latex a bit like opium and it is a slight sedative but it is very mild.
