GBL legal under Ibiza / Spanish law ?
Firstly, a big Hi! to all you responsible G users out there!!

I have been trying without any luck to find out if GBL is legal under Spanish law. For that matter, I haven't managed to find any definitive answer for other European countries in general... I know it's legal status is under review here in the UK -- something to keep an eye on...

I guess my question is two fold:

- Is GBL (as opposed to GHB) legal to possess in Ibiza / Spain?

- Is it legal to carry personal quantities of GBL from the UK to Ibiza / Spain?

If anyone has any insight on this, or knows a website that should contain the answers, that would be most appreciated!

(I think I did find some discussion of this elsewhere on this board, but it was all in Dutch and I didn't have much luck translating it with Babelfish!)

SWIY should stay away from taking both GHB and GBL to Spain. The penalties in Spain are something to be worried about for sure... and SWIY probably has a different interpretation of an extended vacation.
Above that, in Ibiza there's a real club culture where everyting goes and all goodies are easily available on the streets. Beware of undercover ops by guardia's though!

You can get in trouble if you get caught with gbl anywhere within the EU.

No that is not true. In the UK GBL is, currently, perfectly legal to buy/sell/possess.

I believe that there are a number of other countries within the EU that have not scheduled it yet, although I don't know about Spain.

Finland certainly is one of those. Though you can't order it through post across the border. I beleive GBL hasn't been banned virtually anywhere. Anyone know if this is untrue?

In Spain is not scheduled, not even known, but I can assure you could get in trouble if you get caught by the wrong person. Same for rest of EU. Note that trouble doesn't have to mean a conviction.

In Sweden it's also illegal to possess GBL. I don't know the details...
