Side effects - Combatting nausea while stoned?

Well,

I've been reading several articles in the cannabis section recently, and even tried using the search engine but didn't find anything of much help.

I see some people saying that smoking cannabis relieves nausea, and also I have seen an article saying that cannabis naturally supresses the need or want to vomit. Swim however, has a different opinion. Sometimes (probly 1/2) highs he feels slightly nauseated. Sometimes swim feels the nausea kick in when he is burning out (which coincidently is when he lies down to go to bed). Or even sometimes when he is at his peak of the high (rarer).

I was wondering if any other swimmers experience the same thing, or if anyone knows how to combat the nausea.

maybe taking a ginger extract tablet or something similar wouldhelp with the nausea??

Levopromazine (Nozinan) works well for combating nausea and SWIMs experience is that it works very well with cannabis. However it is hard to aquire unless you know someone on prescription opiates for pain as Nozinan is often proscribed to pain patients who can't keep down thier medication. It is also an anti-psychotic and sedative.

Wieredly enough, sometimes eating something plain and high in carbohyrates (like a piece of bread) often helps SWIM's stomach settle whatever his nausea is caused by.

My cat has the same problem. He gets bad nausea from eating cannabis, and mild nausea from smoking. He smoked resin yesterday and got pretty nauseous, although pretty stoned too. He hates the nausea, as it seems like it does not happen to others much.

Ginger does not help swim.

As mentioend before ginger can work,you can also use fresh Cinnamon to relive nasuea. If you prefer synthetic cures you could try taking 50-100mg of dramimine but this could lead to feeling tired.

Swim also suffers from nausea sometimes when high. When it's not because Swim generally has a weak stomach or has been drinking, he usually puts it down to too high a dosage as smaller dosages don't have the same effect. Lying down also brings it on worse.

Swim usually finds that "Mind over matter" is the best method to get over it. The effects of being high can be similar to a feeling of dizziness or hunger nausea and it's easy to let that take over and make you feel ill.

Sounds like an overdose to phaze. Try smoking less and see if nausea continues. Phazes brother who is now in the army used to vomit every time they would smoke to much, his brother would blame it on blunt wraps - as he formed his opinion that it was a coincidence he only vomited when smoking blunts.

Phaze conducted an experiment without his brother knowing, by using less weed his nausea did not set in.

Some people get green from smoking to much green.
