Tramadol and Prozac?

Swim didn't quite know whether to post the sticky Tramadol thread or start a new one but since it's sort of important to Swim and probably a few others similar, here we go...
I'm taking 60mg of Fluoxetine (prozac) for BPD and eating disorders but love abusing opiates, specially dhc. However, swim has discovered a decent source of tramadol SR 100mgs.
Doing a quick search on google, swim is scared sh*tless about inducing a fit as it has pretty big interactions with fluoxetine.
Is this a real risk?
How much should swim take safely... maybe not at all?
Being extended release tramadol, if swim broke open the caps and parachuted them, would the effect be better.?

If SWIY considers "a greatly reduced seizure threshold" nothing big then the interaction should be safe. Seriously though, it doesn't like a good idea at all. Seizures have been reported when combined with an SSRI with at little as 200mg tramadol.

Mixing prozac and tramadol may increase the chances of seizures. But whats worst, is if you have taken prozac within the last two weeks prior to taking tramadol, the tramadol will most likely loose its effect, the most you'll feel is a tingly feeling in your head and no relief from the tramadol. You're wasting your tramadol if you have taken prozac.

SWIM knows someone who has taken tramadol with prozac, the chances are you won't have no seizures, but waste the tramadol. If syou are taking prozac, syou are better of just sticking to traditional opioids or try and see for syou self, the blockade effect prozac has when tramadol is taken ontop.
