Thumbs up 12 oz. Mouse

Searched and couldn't find a thread about it... Any 12. oz Mouse fans on the forum?

Frankly I'm convinced that it's one of the greatest works of art ever, and swim would even say it's perhaps the best drug movie ever. That's just his personal opinion.

If you don't know, 12 oz. Mouse was a TV show on Adult Swim and now exists in movie form as a 4 & 1/2 hour DVD. It's crudely drawn, ludicrously irreverent (hilarious), and psychadelic.

Swim's first LSD trip was this completely absurd accidental journey all throughout his neighborhood with a companion trying to find the way back to solid ground, encountering all kinds of blood-drenched yards, elastic streets and climactic confrontations. It was like Alice in Wonderland... but with Alice In Chains music at the end (no pun intended). Swimm tried to recreate this experience several times, and nothing could bring it back (not even subsequent acid trips). This probably sounds irrelevent, but my point was... 12 oz. Mouse is the closest thing swim ever found to recreating that experience! He's convinced that Mouse was made specifically for people on drugs. It's an epic journey through existence.

First time anyone sees it, it usually seems like stupidly pointless, random, chaotic absurdity. It's uproariously hilarious even from the start, but it becomes even more hilarious when you realize how legitimate it is. It's not random at all. It all makes sense and the dialogue is unbelievably genius. It's so intricate, so many burns... I adore it. Swim adores it too. We love anarchistic hedonism.

So, any fans?
