Any SWIM's ever ingest raw latex?

Just curious if any SWIM has tried ingesting raw latex? Spoonful?

SWIM read how the opium harvesters in Afghanistan will sometimes "lick" the knife they use to cut slits in the pod with. Licking the knife apparently gives them a pleasant view while working?

SWIM on the board here mentioned something in passing about sucking on a stem or two when cutting pods/straw for drying... SWIM said he got a pleasant view from that.

What's raw latex taste like? My guess is $hit, but hey, if the view is nice I'd lick dog crap too. Hahaha.
