i've never been a big fan of xtc because almost everytime i've done it
i came down really hard and sudden. i always feel extremely depressed. i have a low tolerance for it as well, 1 pill and i'm good. what can help me ease the come down? i like the drug well enough but i never do it because i hate feeling like shit afterwards. |

smoke a bit of weed and drink a bit of vodka. sleep. next day smoke some more weed and drink some more vodka. if you have a low tolerance, the next day should be nice if you get a few spliffs and a few drinks inside you, it usually is for me...

use 5htp - postloading with it about thirty minutes after effects of e are wearing off is best time. take one n then another about an hour later. it calms the come down and stops you from crashing. also, although most people can't face eating, try and force something down (preferably something fruit or fruitbased, or protein). not only does it fill your stomach but it replaces nutrients etc that e has taken out of you, thus slowing down and calming the come down effects. must say tho that 5htp doesn't work for everybody but is readily available from holland&barret in uk or a similar herbal kinda place in other countries. try the net, usually the best source. also, while coming down try and be with friends or a large group of people as this will keep you from thinking to yourself and 'climbing into your thoughts'. the last thing you want to do is think too deeply as this brings on comedown and exacerbates it. also, avoid vitamin c (especially in OJ) as this makes you come down and heightens the feelings of come down as it shortens the time it takes. try lowering your dosage also. if you haven't got a high tolerance level, which it doesn't sound like you have then lower the dosage and spread the pills out further throughout the night, thus not coming down from 'as high up' as it were. |

yeah i forgot to mention food - eat as much as you can, i know it doesnt feel like you can handle food when you come down, but maybe try a banana or an orange or something. and next day make sure you force yourself to eat, itll do you good.

Dont hate your comedown. look at it as something to look foward too , when you can relax. sounds wierd , but it works. on the next day if you depressed listen to some good music u realy like and drink. drinking on a comedown really canes me , i think the E kinda kicks back and makes you happy again. |

personally, I don't think adding more drugs is gonna help you, not to mention it's not healthy. Comedowns happen on most drugs, it's just the way it is. The highs are high, the lows are low...if you can't handle it, don't do it.

if you can ease the lows and have a good time though, then why not? theres something really special about having a few pints with your mates on a comedown, its a much different feeling to just having a few pints any other time. the 'day after' to me is often a part of the whole experience, and the e can still affect you slightly too if you havent much of a tolerance...

what are different symptoms of coming down from E? Mine usually consist of my extremities going numb/tingling, tightness of chest, chills/sweats and racing heart for 24 hours there after and then followed by a deep depression for another 24 hours and just brain dead for the last 24 hours and on the 3rd day start to feel like myself again. but other people say its alot like an drunkin hangover. Just curios how long it takes othersto feel normal again and whats the worst part of coming down Mental or Physical |

Mine is a little different...I get really pissed off. Every little thing annoys me. Also, I have this uneasy feeling, like, I wanna do something, but I wanna just sit there. I wanna listen to music, but I want it to be quiet. There is just no winning. I'm also kinda depressed, and it usually takes me 3-7 days to feel normal again. |

I don't come down any more. It's a matter of choice.How I do it is difficult to explain like this, but I can do it to other people around me too. It involves saying really abstract nonsensical things and claiming that they're the secret of the universe, laughing like mad, making animal noises and generally goin off the wall. It's impossible to come down if you're doing this.I call this a technique to not come down; some would call it amphetamine psychosis. But trust me, amphetamine psychosis is loadsa fun. When you take pills, you never really come down, not fully, you'll always be a little bit up,for the rest of your life. More mundane suggestions would be food, benzodiazepines, weed, salvia and especially SSRIs like Prozac. |

for immediate relief take your vitamins, especially C, and Alpha Lipoic Acid, eat or drink some protein, than pop a valume or another muscular relaxen. It also helps slow down your body so you wont be burning up. If you can take a Prozac and some 5htp (but only after you have come completely down, if not it might just squeeze that last of the serotonin out of your brain.) some 5 htp are coated as to bypass the stomach and more of it will hit your brain. Get some sleep and chill out a bit.

UGh. The E comedown. For me, it's awful: at least a full day of terrible restlessness, mild anxiety, irritability and sadness.I also get odd periods of hyperventilation (almost spastic breathing), twitching, shaking and my hands & feet are cold and clammy. I rolled for the first time in several months last Saturday, and by the time dawn came, I was dreading the inevitable. And the inevitable did indeed come around. I came to this thread curious for some come-down coping ideas. The only thing I did that seemed to help yesterday just slightly was lots and lots of self-talk ("you're ok, just ride it out, this will pass & you'll feel better soon," etc). Meanwhile, I just curled in a ball on the couch and watched comforting tv and movies to pass the time. Also got some yummy food even tho the last thing I wanted to do was eat. Probably not very helpful to your question, but at least you know you're not alone in hating the come-down. Btw- what is 5htp?? |

its a precursor to serotonin, often used as a natural anti-depressant i think. buy it from a health store or on the internet. can also help you sleep too. its probably very expensive though - it is over here.

As for the Vitamin C thing, I has always found that to be a HUGE help.
I found these packets in a local health store called Emer'gen-C and contain 1 gram of vitamin C, along with like 32 other good vitamin supplements... great for hangovers of any kind. I just put it in a shot glass with a little water and take the whole thing at once. (your supposed to put it into a glass and drink it like a soda... it tastes like shit if you do that ) 2 or 3 of these packets, and you will be more then repleneshed, vitamin-wise.Also, any sort of food will help you regain energy and become less hungover. You may not feel up to eating, but you should do so anyways. There is nothing worse then being really tired while hungover. It makes the effects much worse. The only other advice i can offer is to hang out with some good friends and talk or watch a movie or something- most of an ex hangover is mental, so this will help you forget your pain and actually enjoy yourself. The trick to coming down on ecstasy is to dose Piracetam (or
Aniracetam) with the E. It'll make the rolls last longer, be smoother, more spiritual, and it makes the come down a joy instead of a pain. I've also heard that many people who felt that E no longer worked for them have had the magic restored by dosing piracetam with it. Unfortunately you must order it from overseas because it isn't available in the United States from what I know. |

i used to smoke loads of weed on the comedown, but ive stoped smoking now. but anyway, valium is one of the nicest things to do on a comedown.

I find if you drink some strong coffee (a few cups) it makes the comedown a lot smoother, it may stop you going to sleep but at least it stops you hitting that awfull point where you dont know what to do with yourself.

i also get terrible, diabolical, comedowns, i dont feel like shit,
im just really upset that the night has to come to a end. i get upset that when i wake up, there is going to be no money, its going to be a raindy day, get the bus back home, and wait another month before a good night! the ansrew is, get a gram of cocaine, have a good night with about 2 or 3 friends, doing ecstasy, all stay at 1 house, go 2 sleep, and when you wake up, you have something to look forword to! |

zipoo: check the "piracetam - any experiences?" thread, for advice
on the piracetam. i'd really like to get a hold of it too but have to order it from overseas. as for come downs.. the first one i was definitely more mental than physical. i just got really upset that it was over (like you wylde) , that i didn't know when the next time would be and that my friends were just ready to move on.. i wanted it to last forever! we all stayed at the same joint, but that didn't help much cos i couldn't stop moving and they had crashed. just as well it was a sunny day! over the next couple of days i was just really lonely and pathetic.. the next time i decided that "there would be no come down." bad thoughts were something that could be evaporated and i knew that there would be a next time sometime soon (which probably isn't a good thing health-wise, but oh well!) i just surrounded myself with ppl, my friends and family and kept myself busy with little things. then again, i probably haven't taken enough shit, or strong enough shit to have a really bad physical come down. yeah, my body is exhausted and i'm tired, but thats about it. some ppl here take zanax (an anti-depressant), don't know if you guys have it over there or 5htp. one guy even tried to talk us into taking G (GBH/GHB) but its too easy to overdose on that shit. he was a hard-core drug fiend tho! sorry guys, this post was waayyy too long

I have to disagree with you skettio,SWIM findsGHB the best for coming down from E. The ability to overdose on any drugis directly related to the ability to use drugs responsibly, if you cant do that then you shouldnt be taking them in the first place. For my friend he will take G to on the end of the rolls to bring it back on and will normally he high on G for the next 4-6 hours, at which point the E come down is not as bad and will easily take a nap while watching a movie or listening to some music. Also he has found if he can drag his ass outside and lay in the sun this is a pretty good way to pass the time when e-tarded. Edited by: fuzzymofo |

Usually if I just take 1 pill at night, the nexy day I will feel better
than on a normal day, except I can't eat. If I take more than one, when I come down, I feel depressed, confused, lost, and I can't eat for at least a day.Edited by: Apparatus |

drink vodka until you pass out... or if you wanna keep partying then take GHB. it takes the "sting" out of your comedown and you feel way better-in fact taking GHB after pills is the best time to take GHB coz yr less likely to KO
