USA - Hammond Indiana Hammond City Court?

Hey everybody,I was recently arrested in Hammond Indiana for possesion of marijuana. What happened was I was in a friends car. He was driving. Another friend was in the back seat. I was in the front seat of course and the weed was in the door next to me. We were turning around in a U-Haul parking lot right past the toll road entrance to Chicago off of Indianapolis Blvd. When we pulled into the parking lot to turn around, we heard a siren and turned around to see an unmarked Hammond Police car with 2 cops already stepping out of it. I had no time to grab or hide the weed anywhere so I hoped for the best. The cop smelled weed and asked my friend to step out of the vehicle. HE talked to him behind the car for a few seconds and then threw him in the back of his squad car. But he did not cuff him. He then asked me to step out and told me he smelled weed and asked me where it was. I told him where it was and then he asked whos it was and I told him it was mine. To make a long story short, I got arrested and my two friends were let go. I now have a court date with Hammond City Court on 6/26/06What I am trying to figure out is whether or not I am going to have to take a drug test. I have a lawyer and he said I will not be put on probation just a defferal program meaning I cannot get arrested for anything drug related for the next six months. It is my first offense and otherwise I have a clean record. Has anybody already been through this? Please let me know cause I need to look into getting some kind of detox kit if I am gonna be tested on my court date. Thankyou so much
