Can Seeds Be Extracted Into Raw Opium?

Can seeds be extracted to make opium??if so how many are needed??how hard is it??how many needed forstrong tea??swims friend has been offered a very large sack of tasmanian seeds and prob doesnt have space to grow anywhere near the amount so wnats to do something with the rest!!!
whats the besttime to plant them in the southern hemisphere???
