Too Much Concerta Use?

Today I took 14 pills of concerta each 36mg thats over 500mg of concerta today , between 3pm and about 4am. I am a bit worried but I feel fine except for some gastrointestinal upsets. The reason I'm worried is that 5 years ago I seriously overdosed on ritalin - I couldn't tell u how many pills I took and snorted but I ended up with toxic psychosis where u go crazy for like a week. I never want that to happen again - but I'm just trying to concentrate and get my work done - I'm doing a thesis , and I work better when I can feel the high and thats only when I take that many pills. But I've never taken a total of 14 before in one day. The most before was 8 , 36mg pills.

What will happen to me , anybody taken this much and can tell me their experience? Will I be ok - as I said I feel fine except my stomach. And I am getting my work done.

Please reply with some help - whats the most you've taken of concerta and been ok?

I have to voice my curiosity here: why?? the OP goes on about how it's not for recreation, but for studying/writing a thesis... but the most taken any time before is reportedly 8 pills, what made 14 sounds like a good idea??

Swim ending up taking 20 because he/she wasn't feeling any efffects . I hope swim doesn't have a heart atttack its about going to sleep rather than seek medical attention because where swim lives once you go in for those kinds of problems - lets just say your futures over - its a small country where everybody knows everybody esp with the field swim is in. swim knows about the 8 and will never do more again. But still aside from the stomache aches - no other symptoms. So hopefully there are no lasting problems - maybe except some form of seriously wanting to get that thesis done by the deadline no matter what. But swim won't do anything so stupid again. I hope this message isn't breaking anymore guidelines I already got one warning.

Does anyone know why the message wriitten was under the wrong forum? What forum was it suppposed to be under? Swim stilll hasn't slept been up from 10am yesterday till now 11am today. Guess swim should try and sleeep soon. Ans SWIm would like to know how much is the most anyone has taken of Concerta in a 24 hr period?

It didn't really answer my question--and the fact that SWIY took six more in at most 6ish hours only confuses me more. It sounds like SWIY is depleted of dopamine.

SWIY should drink a lot of OJ or any acidic fruit juice, it'll lower the pH in the stomach, which might upset it more, but the lowered pH in the urine should cause the body to get rid of methylphenidate (and amphetamines) faster.

This is an old post , but reading it made swim feel better!!! 500 mg, holy crap.

Swim has taken 72mg concerta crushed orally at 11am then the same at 3pm then same at 7 pm............swim feels OK. Swim got tons of yard work done today and felt great all day, but swim was worried about taking more than 200 mg in one day. Swim was careful to wait 4 hours between doses.

Swimmy has done that swimmy did live taking over 700 mg swimmy did get halluinctions though but he got trough a 400 page book for study in a day
But swimy here has massive tolerance so swimmy does not know, a person without tolernace will not handle 700mg of concerta things swimmy
