SWIM finds his most lucid dreams come from coke+absinth nights.
although this might be mostly from the absinth, the coke definately adds to how amazing the dreams are. its an amazing mix and if you like those vivid dreams, i highly recomend you try it |

Heh, it takes me FOREVER to fall asleep, but when I finally do I always
have very very vivid dreams and a good number of times I can remember them in the morning. I remember one dream from awhile ago when I was just standing in the middle of a gun fight. It felt like I could feel and hear the bullets actually whizzing by my head. I love coke dreams. |

When SWIM uses coke in that situation SWIM doesn't actually fall
asleep but lies in bed in a halfway asleep state. During this time SWIM has very vivid "dreams," he thinks it is because coke excites your brain and since you aren't keeping your brain busy by moving around and talking to people your brain keeps itself busy with these crazy dreams. |

Damn the power of suggestion is strong - Never really had this happen till I read this post last night before going to bed - It happened last night - I'll spare you the details, but it had to do with womens volleyball, a hotel, and a girl by the name of ms. Free Fallin, and a conversation with her mother Ann Fallin.... very strange indeed

I have lucid dreams all the time, but not from coke (never done coke actually) I just wake up in the morning groggy as hell and not being a morning person I lie back down to go to sleep and sure enough I am having a lucid dream, controlling everything I see and do.....usually it only lasts for a few minutes cause then my brain goes back to it unconscious state and I dream. Sleep Deprivation & Cocaine
Just curious... does anyone find the mix of cola + sleep deprivation different than say, meth + sleep deprivation, or just severe insomnia?
SWIM does find long rolls on cola to be unique, but it's hard to say exactly how. It seems to vary every time, but it's definitely a different vibe than other instances of staying awake way too long. One interesting note -- SWIM will take cola + sleep deprivation over serious insomnia (just sleep deprivation alone) any day. The former has its interesting points, the latter is just hell (living zombification) no matter how you slice it. One real prob with cola tho is that combined with lack of sleep, SWIM finds it nearly impossible to do anything but putter around the house, mostly shuffling back & forth between the TV set and the computer. Without the cola it may be sheer misery, but he can force himself to get out and get necessary stuff done. The combo of cola + sleep deprivation is more physically disabling.Edited by: Nicaine |

On extended rolls after about 36 hours Swim goes through periods were
he can't tell if he feels good or not... and then he takes it down for a whlie and brings it back up for a few hours to the point were he can't function... but he would mostdefinately take coke with sleep deprivation over plain insomnia...I also putter around the house not knowing what do....got to my bed...the computer....the tv....outside to smoke(I'll take about 3 drags and be bored with it) all while his roommate shakes his head and gives him the look as if he was a cola head... then Italk the ear off of whoever is around and repeat the steps ad nausem....yes different from my standard 10-12 hour party roll |

Binge/Sleep Deprivation Experiances With Powder Cocaine?
Hey All,
Recently, due to certain changes in life circumstances, SWIM passed the realm of the all night/half day binge and experianced several episodes during which SWIM was ingesting powder, vodka, and ativan for periods of 2+ days, 5 days, and 3 days, respectively, w/out food or sleep. Needless to say, the effects most overtly presenting were those from the realm of sleep deprivation - complex, paranoid visual hallucinations, as well as as vision impairment, specifically with regard to accurate color perception. SWIM would like to hear specifically from POWDER afficianados who have had similar extended experiances, and the details and effects related. SWIM says thanks! Cow says moo! |

The colour perception is dead on. For SWIM, just the next morning colours seem to shift back and forth from yellowish to bluish. Intensity and brightness also seem to increase and decrease. This, of course, only adds to the paranoia! It gets progressively worse from there. SWIM swears that the boss is watching him via hidden cameras when he shoots up in the bathroom at work. LOL.

waking up 4 hours later... Cocaine and sleep cycles
SWIM thinks this has happened to a lot of people who have used stimulants :
you finally get some sleep (sometimes it happens pretty easily, especially with coca rather than cocaine), after a night out and some drinks, you're tired, you drift away without needing any medication (or at least not something that knocks one out). and then.... 4 or 5 hours later, you're awake. Truly awake, fresh, strung- yet you know it won't last you through the day. SWIM usually sleeps 7 hours a night. But when this happens, SWIM wakes up and rather than fight it gets up, goes jogging if he's too wired (has happened with cocaine), shopping or getting down to work if it's ok, has a good meal, and a nap in the afternoon ( 1 or 2 hours). the question SWIM was asking SWIHself was what the 4 / 5 hours correspond to ? Is it a sleep cycle, a circadian rhythm thing, a CNS reaction, related to the assimilation of the stimulant by the system ? Strange, but for SWIM it's usually always around 4/ 5 hours of sleep and then ding! up, awake. wide awake. And this doesn't happen to swim if he goes to sleep at the same hours without a stimulant. for example, goes to bed at 5, wakes up bright at 10, after a night chewing ( 25 gms or so ) of coca and downing a few drinks. residual stimulation felt until mid afternoon. Goes to bed at 4 without stimulants sleeps until 12 and wakes up groggy as hell. could it be stimulants only let you grab a single full sleep cycle or something to that effect ? clues ? hmmm b Last edited by Benga; 14-09-2007 at 09:14. |

hey b, this has happend to - a few times before but the only thing - can find that relates to all the instances is when it does happens its always at the end of what is left of - supply. maybe it has something to do with that craving for me. not sure rather a craving could be so strong to wake you up out of sleep. usualy, dont wake up with energy. that part is something odd to . maybe if someone was so high, but the body really wanted sleep that could overcome the high, but only for so long. other times after a 4 day binge with litteraly not a wink of sleep, sleeping for 15-20 hours isnt uncommon, does swib ever do that?

Crack Dreams
The freakiest thing happened to SWIM a couple of nights ago. She had a pretty damned intense crack dream - and although she certainly remembers having had them previously, this one came completely out of the blue.
A little background: The last time SWIM indulged was about February this year. She had easy access to some damned potent stuff at extraordinary prices and, as you do, took advantage. Good Lord it was intense but, you know, life's not a rehersal etc etc; no particular regrets but towards the end of the binge she was definitely in that only-if-you've-done-copious-amounts-of-cocaine-can-you-appreciate-the-thin-line-between-heaven-and-hell mode. And, to be honest, apart from the occasional "wouldn't it be nice" thought, she hasn't really missed it.Anyways, the Crack Dream always seems to be that SWIM has lots of the stuff but goddamnit she just can't find a quiet or discreet enough environment to have a surreptitious hit! She'll have her pipe ready, lighter to hand, totally good to go and SOMETHING just keeps interupting her over and over again! When SWIM actually wakes up, although the scenario is still ever so fresh in her mind, she can never work out whether she actually even took a single hit or not ![]() Bummer. Just wondered whether anyone else out there was familiar with this particular (and peculiar) scenario. Cheers! |

Re: Crack Dreams
Yeah SWIM had the same experience, not exactly the same dream tho. Literally it was like 9 days after SWIM last indulged and he had the most vivid dream he had ever had loading and hitting the pipe, even doing a foily! Man he woke up pretty upset he wasn't just about to hit a pipe, that kinda scared SWIM, but he knows that's what comes with the addiction. But yeah, pretty intense
