Benzaldehyde Recipes
Hey,
Swil was thinking this would be maybe the go as obtaining ephedrine from packets is more hassle than what it is worth and is limited for what swil needs. Does Swiy have a descent recipe for Benzaldehyde related cooks, or send swil a link of something on here, that will suffice. Appreciate it Lohan. |

Re: Benzaldehyde Recipes
Swil thought that they would like to share something.
Recently it had been brought to Swil attention that Benz was used in beekeeping so, he made some enquiries and found some. So he inquired and all was going well, no flag's went up, the quantity was discussed and they sent out a invoice to deposit the money into their account, which someone did. Then things started to smell a bit, a special form was sent out to this person, requiring id and a full declaration stating that whoever was receiving this, was not going to be naughty. This person has found a way to wriggle out of this pooh, should it become a problem, but they wanted to pass on a message to anyone who is stupid enough to think about trying to get this (DONT) and try and find another substitute, like the Toluene to Benz Method. Lohan. |

Re: Benzaldehyde Recipes
Thanks for the headsup swil. Its such a ubiquitous chemical and so easily obtained from household sources its not worth the trouble of ordering it IMO.

Re: Benzaldehyde Recipes
bitter almond oil is about 90% benzaldehyde all thats needed is fractional distilation allso it can be turned to ephedrine by using yeast and molasses i dont think that 10% impurity would matter and you could use just bitter almond oil i hate to say this but try festers book it has the complete reaction and i know some one that followed it and it does work try getting benzaldehyde from auction web sights (you know witch one)

Re: Benzaldehyde Recipes

Re: Benzaldehyde Recipes
i herd that someone used home brew kits and got good results 70% by weight of benzaldehyde used .the only drama is filtering out the yeast then all thats required is to react compound left with methyalamine to get ephidrine. methyalamine is a listed precursor so you would have to make it as well so its a lot of work involved there. this method would be good if you had scaled up to industrial sized production and had a centerfuge handy and a lot of methalamine and did a big nazi style cook but on a small scale you would be better off making amphetamine instead of meth. if you have benzaldehyde why not go to the hobby shop and buy some nitroethane and find some murcuric chloride and make amphetamine the reaction is over in a day so you dont have precursor chemicals laying around and the chemicals are easy to get so you wont attract any attention either theres a good post that has pictures and a step by step instructions on this method of making amphetamine

Didn't even know you could make amphs from benzaldehyde that easy. Thanks for the info.

Re: Benzaldehyde Recipes
SWIHB will find some information in the Rhodium archive on fermentation to turn benzaldehyde and an amine to l-pac, which can be used in speed production.

Re: Benzaldehyde Recipes
Just found a thread on it on DF. Interesting but they lost me when they started explaining how to separate the l-pac from the yeast. They started talking about chromotography and fractional crystallization. I don't even know what the hell fractional crystallization is but chromotography seems like way too much of a hassle to get some l-pac which you then have to convert into ephedrine with hard to get reagents like methylamine.
Then again chemistrys not supposed to be easy so swihb should just stop being such a lazy prick. |

this is a easy synth for methylamine not to hard to get chemicals theres a portable toilet aditive that is 240g/L of formaldahyde, chloroform might be a bit harder to get hold of |

Thanks. Theres a fairly simple synthesis for chloroform on sciencemadness too.
