Okay, i recently applied for a new job.. I went on the interview today , they said all i had to do was past the drug test and i have the job, now heres the thing.. about a week or 2 ago.. i took some pills.. and i would like to know, do you think it is still in my system?????? the manager of the place said they would be using my hair for testing.. i heard it comes up positive when using hair samples.

Am i in trouble or what?? Please help , what can i do???.. i think i have to take the drug test on tuesday 27th or weds 28th

Most things found in ecstasy pills are detectable for a period of 90 days.

You could shave your head, but that would be pretty incriminating...I don't know what sort of guidelines govern that sort of behavior prior to a drug test. You could claim you contracted lice and were forced to shave your hair, or you could legitimately find someone with lice, contract lice, have some sort of evidence showing lice was contracted and then shave the hair...I'm making shit up at this point honestly...hair tests seems to be pretty accurate.

Hair-tests can detect arsenic levels in people who died 2000 years ago. So if SWIM partied 3 years ago and smoked pot - it will be found. Sorry to bust SWIM's bubble.

Personally, even if I was starving and freezing in the dark, I would not accept a job from any company that wanted to trace my past behavior of the last weekend. Let alone last year or the decade before.

For the most part hair tests will only go back 3 months accurately unless one is going through a very very picky and expensive lab analysis. something tells me that swiy's company probably isn't paying over 1000$ for this test so it is probably going to show everything swiy did within the last quarter year or so.

yeesh, what is swiy applying for? certainly isn't the republican party because half of them would show up for methamphetamines and secret anal sex with their boy-toy "ron"... and i hear they aren't recruiting... oops, i meant hiring.

Even if you are correct in your analysis of hair-analysis, Samadhi, the fact remains that it can be found. So if the standard (koff!) HA test now goes back 3 months - that still constitutes an invasion of privacy like all-get-out.

I know how these suckers work. I've had need to check into the equipment they are using. All they have to do is turn up the level and it will make 3 months become 3 years. And so on.

I found this out back in 1990. A pharmacy told me they needed my social-security number to fill a prescription. I was shocked. I demanded to see a law, in writing, that stated this. They handed me their copy. Hot off the press. It was being run by a company Ross Perot founded, and quickly sold, before his attempted run against Clinton/Bush in the coming election. EDS - Electronic Data Systems Inc. The gig was to gather data on American citizens to see if they were too sick to bother saving in the event of a catastrophe. Such as 4 more years of George Bush 1. The records were sent to FEMA. Remember them? Hurricane Katrina? I thought you might.

Anywho - I refused and got my prescription anyways - legally. Protests were filed. The new law was stricken. And Ross lost. And Bush. But I learned a lot about hair-analysis: Every employee of EDS had to get a "Company Haircut" every 6 months.

What company is SWIY applying for, the FBI. Seems like a far measure for employment just because of the length it can be detected. Also seems a little bit expensive for a company to be doing this.

now but maybe you could refuse it since you will not pass anyways? or shorten it.. theres a certain lenght the hair grows every month, if it was just a few weeks ago and SWIY has long enough hair so that a loss of 1cm or so (dont know exactly) wouldnt be noticed, why not.. this is he didnt taking anything in the time before..

I doubt they'll care very much whatever the circumstance were surrounding the pill. People usually aren't too lenient in my estimation. There are products available that claim to wash out chemical residues but I'd imagine these too are a waste of money so I'd caution against moving in that directions either. And since the pill was so recent Most of your hair would have to be removed to get rid of the evidence so I doubt it would be easy to conceal such a tactic. Hopefully some unexpected luck will find you and nothing bad will come of this, or a new job opportunity..

okay.. what about if i go to the store and buy some "virgin human hair weave" ?? and then plant it discretely in my hair and then pluck it out in give it to them.

im soo serious..
i need this job soo bad.. the economy is soo bad here in the U.S .. its been soo hard trying to get a job.. and like i said.. all i have to do is pass the test and i got it.
Hopefully.. theyll just say ya know wat.. forget the test.. you start tomorrow.

Damn straight. But until people start protesting about the growing use of these invasions of privacy then it is going to crop up in more and more areas of life, never mind employment.

What I would like see is the development of a substance that could render these tests unreadable. After all, you are only being asked to take the test and not get a positive. How about if you take the test and the results come back as unreadable?

Hey guys.. ok so i went today and took the test... the results havent came back yet.. BUT i received some paper work to take to the employer and he said i can start Friday.. im soo happy.. and im thinking.. how is he hiring me and havent even got the results back yet? But i wont ask any questions.. thank god for this job.. and hopefully i will still have it when the results come in!!
