Buying a bowl

I'm looking to buy a bowl, but I haven't found many sites that have
exactly what I'm looking for. I'd prefer to buy from something that
operates out of the US so I don't have to pay massive shipping fees.
Also, what would you suggest: glass, wood, etc? I'd prefer one that
isn't multi-colored and looks as much like a tobacco pipe as possible
(Could I just use a tobacco pipe if I drilled a hole in the side or
something?). Any other other tips you would like to throw out are
appreciated. Thanks.

First off, I think, for better or for worse, the UK-based online headshops
always have the best selections (i.e., weedcity.com, etc.), and although
the shipping fees are more expensive slightly, they definitely aren't
"massive," unless you order heavy stuff, which you aren't.

Second, obviously, depending on what your main piece is made out of,
glass, plastic, wood, etc., you'd probably just want to match up the
materials. But glass is best of all the choices.

Also, you could just use a tobacco pipe without a
carb/shotgun/whatever you choose to call it. Those aren't necessary,
they're just helpful I guess. Drilling a hole would work too, though.
You can probably find a pipe on google or ebay if you want.</font>

Get metal for your first bowl. Cheap, indestructable. Then get a nice glass one when you're more experienced.

If you're going for metal, they have pretty nifty ones that look like a flashlight.

I would suggest a metal pipe.


Also I would only use half the bowl for the first bowl mixed in with some tobacco, and then do it again forthe second bowl that way you will have two bowls and it will not be as harsh on you, I say this because it sounds like you are a beginner, but once you are used to mary, never smoke it with tabacco, after a bowl yes, but not with.

couldnt have been said better.. there are some cool metal ones u can get for sure, but until u relize that when your high u will do stupid shit, i'd stay metal. after u relize shit go glass, it's so nice and it shows your efforts... my advice look until u find a bowl that catches your eye right away. SWIMS first bowl had 14 Karat gold fumed bowl for his first one. true it was glass but i knew what to expect sense then he's had a buncha nice pieces including a glass bowl that was 400$ it packed 3.5g's (an 1/8th) in a single packing
