Curious first time salvia user

SWIM was wondering what Salvia 5x extract did for SWIY?
Also, if SWIY has smoked just the Slavia foliage, let SWIM know what your expierence was like from that.
SWIM is wondering about trying Salvia 5x extract. SWIM has a bong, but doesn't want to completely trip out of SWIM's mind, so SWIM might just use a small pipe for a small hit.
SWIM is not looking for a big out of body trip, but something mild with visuals, and maybe some recognizable hallucinations.

Well, it sounds like you Don't want to have hallucinations then. Hallucination actually means "confusing with reality", similar to what dreams are. If you see the wall creating images or colors on wall paper moving around, but can remember that you just used a psychedelic, it is not a hallucination.

True hallucinations are actually very rare from most psychedelics, but the ones that are also mild tranquilizers, do produce them. I belive Salvia Divinorum is in this category because of the herkinorin it contains, a pain relief compound like morphine but without any of morphines negitive side effects.

Basiclly, the best advice one could give swiy is to start out with low doses, so tell him to grab a millimeter scale from a auction site or something, and start at 50 milligrams if it's 5x. Then work his way up untill he finds the best suitible dose.

Pipe's actually work very well for smoking salvia. Also from SWIM's experience with salvia, there is either noticeably breaking through, or very little if any psychedelic effect. SWIM has never had any visual distortions really, it was more like the way his mind made sense of the normal scenery was altered-completely different than visual distortions brought out by "trippy drugs". SWIM has also never hallucinated on salvia.

5X extract should work find for SWIY.

Please look around the forums. You wouldn't believe how many times people have asked bout (and posted new threads) "first time salvia questions" and the like.

Extract strength only really makes a difference in terms of how much you need to smoke to achieve similar levels of effects, as well as the way you may want to smoke it given how much smoke will be produced (again, dependent on quantity needed).

This cant be at all guaranteed, any hallucination comes from your mind, the drug doesnt bring alien images with it, it just opens whats already possible in swiys brain.

And be very careful to start with small doses, at high doses it can potentially be the most bizarre experience of somebodies life.
