Combinations - Kratom and Alcohol, potentiation?

Does alcohol potentiate the effects of Kratom like it does for many opiates?

Not for my dog, waste of kratom to her. Maybe other dogs had different experiences though, a personal opinion/experience.

My horse agrees. Too much of each would would be potentially nauseating.

I dont know about potentiate but it gives swim a really euphoric drunk when taken together.

Swim took 4-6 homemade Kratom Capsules during the day (around 5:00 to 6:00) then went to a party later that night at 12:00. He drank his normal amount to get pretty well buzzed which included a rum shot, beer, and vodka shots. Swim got really drunk when he normally doesn't, he also noticed that he stayed drunk for a lot longer than normal. Swim's theory is that while the remaining kratom is being filtered out by the liver, alcohol has a chance to build up in your system increasing your high, however the kratom was apparent because he was not only drunk but blissfully drunk which for swim has not been common, if ever. Swim would advise caution when trying this though, your liver is good to you, be good to your liver and try not to abuse it too much. If you do take some antioxidants and vitamins the next day .
