5-Meo-DMT... Salt or Freebase ?

I received a sample of 5-meo-dmt from a labotary.

The sample looks like this:

This picture is not mine, but it's exactly the same color.

I dissolve it into a little bottle of vodka. After several hours, the
powder was completely dissolved into the vodka (the vodka was
tranparent).

So, finaly my sample was salt or freebase, coz some people says that the freebase can't be dissolved into Alcohol.
