Question Blocked nose

SWIM often has a blocked nose for more than a week after an afternoon of snorting K. Is this usual and has anyone any advice for reducing the time?

Re: Blocked nose

Taking a few huge wiffs of anything like vicks vapour rub, albus oil or decongestants like that may help. Opens up the nasal passages wider so when you blow your nose it's easier to get them boogers out, this is what my Bill finds anyway. He also sometimes tips his head back and drops some water up there then blows it out.
If it's bugging you for ages and nothing else works then take a bowl of boiling water, mix in a spoon of vicks or similar then put a towel over your head and the bowl and breathe deeply for about 1o minutes.

If that doesn't work... Use a hoover.

Re: Blocked nose

haha
It might have to be the hoover option!

SWIM can get it all out easily - it's just that more comes back the next day, and the next day after that. I guess SWIM is irritating his nose or something.

Re: Blocked nose

Minor allergic reaction maybe?

Just a thought as SWIM has severe and crippling hayfever.

Re: Blocked nose

After heavy usage the nose does get sore and swell up, blocking the nasal passages.
Vicks helps a bit but when they're really swollen all you can do is give it a rest for a week.
After all, there's not much point in taking it after the first couple of lines, cos you never make the hole again after the first one do you?

Re: Blocked nose

SWIM used to k hole a few times within a day, spread out over a few hours, but now SWIM cannot seem to get into the hole at all. The amount SWIM needs to get there is too much to get up SWIM's nose. SWIM doesn't want to do IM/IV so it may be the end of the k-road for SWIM.

Re: Blocked nose

Why not just bomb it in a rizla? Or administer rectally. My Bill has never done it but heard good things about it. Of course swiy could always cut down but maybe that's asking a bit much.

Re: Blocked nose

Low doses don't do much for SWIM now and SWIM would rather give up than get into those alternative ways of doing it!

Re: Blocked nose

nose blockage was the main reason SWIM 1st started IM'ing K.

SWIM finds that if theres a line that needs to be sniffed, and SWIY's nose is blocked, the best course of action is to get something spicy, like halapenios etc. ithe hotness clears even the most abused nose for long enough to get that line through. SWIM now always buys a jar of something spicy when planning a big sesh.

Re: Blocked nose

Not a long term solution but try licking your little finger and putting it up the offending nostrils or nostral, maybe it only feels better rather than actually clearing it but it seems to help.
The spicy solution seems to make the most sense - and tasty too
Whilst we are on blocked noses, people were talking about reusing the scraps left up there the day after, must admit it had crossed swims mind but allways a little to proud but hey if some swimmers can vouch for it swim might change their minds!
