peruvian torch, question

Hey all,
Swim just has a quick question for some of the more experienced cactus conissuere`s that may be haunting these forums.

Swims friend has a 9 year old torch growing at his house that he has decided to harvest at the onset of winter (swim is in oz). He has begun stressing the plant at swims advice.

My cat will be obtaining some of these cuttings and is wondering about strength. Said cat is used to about 250-300 mg dose of mesc and doesnt want to overdo it. Swims friend has never tried cactus and given the age+ stressing, Swim is unsure on how much to reccomend him take.

Any help would be appreciated. my cat will be posting pics over the next couple of weeks
