Question Why does THC have a low-solubility level in water and high in fat?

Swim has been wondering what accounts for THC's low solulbility in water and high solubility in oil. Is THC a non-polar moleculte? That might partially answer the reason why since non-polar substances dont dissolve as well in water and as is the same with polar ones in oil. Also, maybe its because THC is such a huge molecule that it is harder to dissolve in water, considering the chemical formula is C21H30O2. But then, why would that make it more soluble in oil, would that not just lower it's general solubility ability? Any explanations (and/or links to reliable sources that swiy might now of) would be greatly appreciated.
