How addictive is speed really?

I am just wondering how addictive speed is really? I was thinking about taking a dab of speed in the lead up to exams. Only enough for about 2 days and to stay up the night before the exaams. I actually wanted some ritalin or something, but it looks like i can only get speed, coz my dealer doesnt know what ritalin is (!).

I have been searching around the forums and the internet and i cant seem to find any real info. Is is likely that i will crave more, even if i take it a sub recreational doses? Will i want more once i experience the initial buzz. What are your thoughts? am i being stupid. is speed a profoundly unwise thing to do?

as a note, i have an semi-addictive personality, and coz i will be so free after exams it'll probably be harder to resist any temptation to do it.

as swiy is in the uk it is most likely that swiy will get amphetamine base/sulphate rather than methamphetamine. This form of the drug is addictive but not nearly as addictive as methamphetamine.

The urge to do more comes when you start coming down from the first dose really. If swiy is doing a tiny amount then addiction risks are low.
Why on earth would swiy want to take speed the day BEFORE the exam, that is mental. by the time the exam comes round you'll be gagging for a sleep. If anything the speed should be taken the morning of the exam to help improve mental function (only a tiny dab though)

swim really does not advise what swiy's thinking. the amount of kids getting base habits these days is terrible; none have any intention of coming off it, and too much temptation surrounds them; too many obstacles for when they finally hit rock bottom, so they don't escape; they can't, they would never know how to or where to go after.

dont do it before exams you will feel scattered at day 2 if u dont have a top up. then its easy to get in a loop of wanting more to stay buzzin. but if you must get some use amphetamine not methamphetamine

As long as you REALLY care more about the exams than you do about the drug, you'll be ok.

I wouldn't advise taking it the day before the exam.

SWIM has exams at the moment and he's revising hard during the day and having a joint at night to calm him and put him to sleep. Taking speed will ruin your chances of doing well.

I agree with everyone else, had a computer engineering final the next day and SWIM took about 120 mg of adderall the night before and day of, thought he did so amazing only to find out he got a 52%. I was devastated til I realized with a curve it was 74%, thank god for curves or SWIM's college performance would look pretty dismal.
