New to poppies - just ingested some - a few questions
Hey guys, I just got my first ever poppy pods in the mail today. After reading erowid and this site, I decided on grinding them and eating the powder with yogurt.
I'm 230 pounds and it generally takes me 3 or 4 lortab "10's" to achieve a nice feeling. What I did was grind up one very large pod and about 4 or 5 small to medium ones. I measured the powder by ounces, it made 2.5-3.0 ounces. God, it tasted nasty even mixed with the peach yogurt ![]() Do you people think this was a big enough dose to get me feeling good based on my weight and tolerance? I did it about 30 minutes ago and I'm not feeling it yet... Thoughts? Thanks in advance! |

Re: New to poppies - just ingested some - a few questions
Mate, there are so many better ways to do it. SWIY should, at the very least, make a poppy tea out of it.
Put in a few hours reading the guide to cooked-flake opium and SWIY will know what's needed. The threads started by Samurai are the ones you need. It's been said a million times, but: Grind the heads (without seeds) to dust. Heat the dust in water (50ml for every gram of dust for ground heads) and keep the water between 50 and 65 degrees C for 3 hours - DON'T EXCEED 80 DEGREES. Filter (don't get me started - look at the "filtration using silks" thread). Drink that "delicious" tea. Oh yeah, don't use more than 10g of dust for your first batch for fear of OD. Please, please read the guides - it's all there. |
