Pharmacology Journals, Magazines, literature (other than books)
SWIM was sitting in the dentists office the other day waiting for all of the stuff they crammed into her mouth to take effect, shots to be administered, etc. So they asked if SWIM would like some reading material.. Given her interests, SWIM was given the doc's dentistry magazines and journals which were actually very informative considering they were denistry related stuff as opposed to pharmacology related material. Obviously, SWIM can't afford to subscribe to many of the Pharmacology academic journals, plus some of those are offered via university library. However, SWIM was looking for something more along the line of periodicals, as opposed to books... magazines and such. This would seem like an easy thing to do, given the WWW, but SWIM has yet to come across any "pharmacology magazines", more casual pharmacology material as opposed to the more research oriented and very pricey research journals. SWIM is going to have to dig pretty deep it seems to find the literature that she is looking for. Any suggestions? SWIM is looking for something priced along the lines of a regular magazine subscription which offers more general info, but up to date and new ideas.
