Down the highway: The life of Bob Dylan
This book is for anyone who has ever had any interest in Bob Dylan.
The author (Howard Sounes) is a lifelong admirer of Dylan.
Throughout the book, the author tries to discover
who Bob Dylan really is. He perfectly balance's information about Dylan's personal, and artistic life. He creates interest, yet avoids bombarding the reader with terribly organized, useless facts. He meticulously goes through
every aspect and event of Dylan's life. He talks to people who have'nt been
interviewed in other books. He manages to find information that has never
been encountered before. He provides correct information and explains why
the facts were skewed. I enjoyed the book because it provides so much information, yet keeps the reader entertained. This book is definetly a must read.
