Tyrosine and/or Sulpiride to ease post-amphetamine depression...?
SWIM was wondering how effective L-Tyrosine is to combat post-amphetamine depression. in swim's experience, the fourth/fifth day after end of 24h binge is the worst and enough reason never to take amphetamine again. be that as it may, swim was wondering what sort of dosage of tyrosine is needed to have any effect.
also, swim is wondering if the atypical antipsychotic Sulpiride, which is used in low dosage as a quick acting antidepressant, might be usefull for post-amphetamine depression... or at least not make it worse for any reason, then it is worth a try. |

The idea is balance?
Yeah, you have to look at a chemical balance, has swim thought about a Tyrosine based diet?... I''ve heard other depletions can occur. Calcium is one... I''ve also heard using Vitamin C, and consuming oranges can assist in a shaky withdrawl... |

Re: Tyrosine and/or Sulpiride to ease post-amphetamine depression...?
I find L-tyrosine gives me increased energy and motivation when used at a 1 gram dose, I'll bet it would help the lethargy and apathy that results from excessive amphetamine consumption...
Maybe get some phenylalanine also, I would dose both at 1 gram maybe 2-3 times per day in the aftermath... foxydoe added 0 Minutes and 43 Seconds later... Oh yea a magnesium supplement also would bee good. Last edited by foxydoe; 25-07-2008 at 22:34. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |
