Talking What spider webs can teach us about LSD's effect on the brain

Sometimes, a picture really is worth a thousand words…
Check out the caffeinated spider’s web!

Spider on LSD

Spider on cannabis

Spider on Mesculin

Spider on caffeine!!!!!!

Be careful that LSD really fucks you up. LOL ha ha ha ha

The alcoholic spider didn’t produce any results

I think I will skip that coffee in the morning.

That's a very old study - but still good today! Did you read about the one where they were giving Carp (fish) LSD and Psilocybin? I'm not sure what they were looking for (a flying-fish?), but there was no follow up.

Upside down or sideways fish perhaps! Shulgins fighting fish never showed any reactions to lsd iirc.

The spider on LSD didnt put any horizontal lines in his web, other than that it looks perfect. He might have started at the very back side and didnt finish, wonder what happened.

Here is the deal. It is tempting to make judgements from this "study". But it is very flawed in a number of ways. Not the least of which is that spiders are not humans or even mammils. They do not have our nervous system. So they will react differently to chemicals compared to humans. So one can only say what any given chemical did in any given spider. To project spider behavior to humans will not work. But I thought the webs were cool though.

Imagine how small the spider's LSD dose would have been
