GBL GI tract damage? kidney damage?
SWIM takes <1ml of GBL 2-3 times a day. It is obtained through a site that markets the chemical as a wheele cleaner fwiw. Obv its industrial use is as a solvent so SWIM wonders if it damages the mouth/throat/GI tract. It is mixed with ~50ml of soda and swallowed then washed down with another 100+ml of soda, never by itself.
Also, in another thead someone mentioned that if "SWIM took gbl multiple times a day, their kidneys would go to sh*t". How does this kidney damage come about? |

Re: GBL GI tract damage? kidney damage?
You can bet it damages the GI tract, just like alcohol.
I'd be more inclined to go for 1ml GBL/500ml water. GBL itself doesn't go near the kidneys. |

Re: GBL GI tract damage? kidney damage?
Gbl can affect the kidneys as when it is converted to ghb by the body it creates acidosis, that is your body shifts from a neutral ph to an acidic one! and this can be rough on the kidneys. Try using a ph strip on your urine after a gbl session and you can see the difference! Some individuals will not get any problems, but many including swim get pain in the kidney area and in the urinary tract after using several times a week.(Swim never does it this often anymore) If you are not experiencing any problems , then fine but remember, pain is the body's way of telling you somethings up. ghb is better for frequent use.

Re: GBL GI tract damage? kidney damage?
For SWIM, taking a couple teaspoons a day of Sodium bicarbonate(baking soda) really helps with body-pain when taking GBL 24/7. Acidosis is very bad, combined with dehydration it kan kill the kidneys(literally).
SWIM noticed it is really important to have the diet in check when binging on GBL, for SWIM it makes big different... Eating a lot of minerals is very important, a multivitamin supplement with essential minerals is a good investment too (and never eat direct after taking GBL)! SWIM personally prefer GBL over GHB, but it takes more effort to get rid of the side-effects. GHB is preferable for round-the-clock dosing none the less. Live and learn maybe, but now SWIM has none(or very few) of the common sides when it's 24/7 dosing-time with GBL.

Re: GBL GI tract damage? kidney damage?
Now why would SWIY choose to dose G 24/7?
Is there not enough information available in this forum to quickly demostrate to anybody who is interested that the ONE flaw with GHB dosing is created by the user opting to use it 24/7 over an extended period? |

Re: GBL GI tract damage? kidney damage?
Swim agrees with Mr G. He is always amazed at the idea of people doing it 24/7. Can you hold down a job on this? or is it a holiday thing? Surely their are times of the day when you need your head on straight

Re: GBL GI tract damage? kidney damage?
A week or two of 24/7 is no problem, any longer is pushing it for swim and makes the withdrawal a matter of some concern. SWIM gets no adverse effects at all after one week of 24/7... but of course long term use in that way is much like putting one single cap in the beretta and shake the gun, put it to the head and pull the trigger... hoping you got the russian roulette thing right.

Re: GBL GI tract damage? kidney damage?
SWIM just does not understand the GBL thing. I mean he did it for quite a while 24/7 and became addicted. But he still cannot figure out why he did it. It did not make him feel good. It was pretty good to fall asleep on but it did not last for that. It became sort of a "habit". But not because it felt good. The only good of it was that SWIM went without alcohol because of it and that was good. But it just does not seem to unlock any decent receptors. It was just nasty for SWIm and of no benefit. But SWIM did notice it was hard on the heartburn and kind of errosive.
