Rolling too soon?

one just rolled pretty hard for the first time last Saturday and tomorrow night (Friday) his two best friends are rolling on some triple stacked green Buddhas which around here (NE) they have a very good reputation... one would REALLY like to roll with his two best times and one wants to take these Buddhas really bad as well. one knows that technically you are supposed to wait for 3 months in between rolling (although most people tell me after at least two weeks is completely fine as well, as long as you're not doing it consecutively) but it's only been about a week since one last rolled and I was just wondering if rolling this Friday would be too soon. one is definitely not going to make a habit out of this, but it's just a special occasion and one am going to wait MUCH longer for the next time.

Should one roll or not? What will be the negative consequences of rolling too soon?

Thanks.

Re: Rolling too soon?

First off, SwiM thinks you need to read the rules for your own safety.

SwiM's cat said that she had some buddhas once upon a time and that they were cheap yet wonderful rolls. She thinks they are the kinds of rolls that should always bee in circulation.

As far as rolling too much, there is a fine line between recreation and addiction. Only swiY can know where that line is for her. It gets dangerous when she rolls before giving her brain a chance to recover:

When one rolls on MDMA, serotonin is forced to be released throughout the brain and the bloodstream. This causes one's senses to become heightened and causes intense feelings of empathy and happiness, the same way it would if you 'just' found out you won the million-dollar lottery.

Physically though (as swiM understands it anyways), this stimulation has been shown to cause neurons to become overworked and the ends basically being 'burned' off. The brain can repair these neurons properly, but only if given ample time. If swiY is rolling to avoid crashing from the last roll, then each time she is destroying more neuron ends which have less of a chance to become connected properly. They may connect to different neuron endings or not connect at all - this is what causes the effects of 'e-tardation' wherein people may have trouble moving, speaking or thinking in an organized fashion because of the deterioration of the nerve endings.

These risks are increased by lots of physical and mental strain (say, a rave.) Drink fluids, no caffeine, etc.

If swiY gives these a chance to recover naturally then there will be a wonderful experience with minimal damage. Think of it as a wound that has to heal. If you leave it alone it may heal very nicely but if you pick at it or reopen it a bunch of times, eventually it will leave a scar.

One who truly uses mdma recreationally understands that it doesn't need to be a drug to get an addiction to - it is one that a roll once in awhile can cause major beneficial changes in swiY's life. With great power comes great responsibility. It is up to swiY to judge if she needs to slow down or otherwise. The rule is 3 months, but it's a weakly enforced one - swiY will know when it is too much as long as she keeps track of her physical and mental health
