My aunt once had a theory on the size of the universe and it made a lot of sense. She proved that the universe could only be under 28 billion lightyears wide. It's some geeky shit but she's sure she pwnt her fair share of scientists. I'll post it if anyone wants to hear it but it's pretty complicated.

People wonder about the meaning of life, the meaning of the universe, why everything has come to be. Well I thought of something yesterday that totally fucked me. It's not a theory, but rather a way of seeing the universe, a way of understanding how everything works. First though, let me tell you how amazing weed is.

I had a few spliffs of some dank shit after having abstained for a little over 3 weeks (since 4/20). We went to my friend's backyard at about 1 am and just decided not to break the silence and simply meditate. This is what I would describe as one of my deepest inner experiences to date.

First of all, looking outside felt like it was fucking daytime. Everything was overwhelmingly bright and clear, and extremely sharp and detailed. So detailed, in fact, that when I started to concentrate on one particular thing, I would begin to understand it in its true form.

For example, you know how matter is made up of even smaller bits of matter, and those bits are made up of even smaller bits, etc? (atoms) Well when I used to think of that shit, I would just picture it as being this cheap animation in my brain, where you can't really picture the extremely small and the extremely big at the same time because their sizes are so different, so you can just see them in frames. In other words, you picture atoms, but good luck picturing an atom and a piece of wood at the same time. Their sizes are just way too different. You have to think of them one by one.

This weed made me see the extremely small, the extremely big, and everything in between. And then I saw the connection.

What we are, everything in our existence, is a series of interactions. Interactions cause us to become connected, and help us unite. Our goal in life, much like a pair of chemicals, is to interact with one another and to unite into this one big universal "thing". The more a thing reacts, the "stronger" that "thing" is, and the more influence it has on the rest of the universe.

I know this seems like some pot head theory to the average person, but let's take some examples:

Life. What is life other than a series of interactions? We meet, we fuck, we multiply, and the circle continues. Life gets bigger and bigger and bigger. And we become conditioned in order to be able to interact more easily.

Humans have their own type of interaction: information, or rather, technology. One person discovers something and shares it with everyone. That person dies, but their idea lives on. Eventually, someone takes that piece of information and uses it to discover several more things. Person dies, new person invents/discovers new thing, etc. If we were all isolated from each other, technology would never have evolved, and we would never have become the complex beings we are today.

But how advanced can we get? Don't we, at some point, get so advanced that we become too powerful, and overpower the interaction between life and planet? Think about it. It all depends on whether, by the time we're advanced enough to colonize other worlds, we haven't fucked up our own already.

Social groups. Every social group ever created is just a chain of interactions that got so big that enough people are either aware or part of it. Religion, fashion, politics, economy: all different interactions that, depending on the amount of people involved, affect our life.

I have a shit load more to say about probabilities, infinity and other stuff that apply to this theory, but I just realized that I suck at explaining things so I'll leave it at that. Next time you're high, just think of different aspects of life as a chemical reaction between different entities. Maybe you might be able to add to this.

Or maybe I'm just high.
