Taking stuff to Twisted Anniversary

Hi, Swim recently met some guy that told him he was going to a big party in London at the Brixton Accademy. He was wondering if there were any drug searches at the entrance or inside. It is because of his medicine that he had to take at the party and was afraid that it would get conviscated.

Comments from people who live there and have experience with the place are very apriciated.

Thank you....

Re: Taking stuff to Twisted Anniversary

If one is worried about it swib doubts they do more than a pat down/ metal detecter which is rare where swib is from. Even if that is the case medicines would not be detected if they are in a shoe or underwear, ect
Just hide them

Re: Taking stuff to Twisted Anniversary

At a rave SWIM went to recently there was a sniffer dog on the entrance...it smelled the MDMA SWIM had in his sock and SWIM got searched (including shoes)...luckily they did not check in SWIM's sock and he got in with no further problems. It was a very close call though and SWIM will hide it somewhere better next time...just a warning cos it's rare to see drug dogs on the door but it can happen...SWIM would say hide whatever you have well, NOT in your shoe but in underwear, between arse cheeks etc.

Re: Taking stuff to Twisted Anniversary

Bouncers aren't allowed to search within your clothes, so just put it SWIYs your sock or - even better boxers - and SWIY'll be fine.

If SWIY's worried about them feeling it when they're patting SWIY down, tape the little baggie under SWIY's sack (haha) - there's no way they'll go anywhere near there.

And fucking hell, why would they have a sniffer at a rave? Isn't it a bit of a given that every single person there is gonna be on substance?

SWIM got patted down at fire in London with a gram and a half of MD in his key-pocket, the bouncer even went inside his jean pocket but didn't check the key bit, so SWIM knows the feeling. He absolutely shat himself and vowed to hide it better from now on!

Imagine that this thread may have already come to the attention of the Brixton academy staff.

Re: Taking stuff to Twisted Anniversary

Thanx for all the comments, Swim will tell him. The funny thing is that he doesn't have to worry about the medicine because he has a doctors prescription and he can show that at the entrance (he has a heart condition, Ingina Pectorus but we have a cure for it )

May your minds be filled with clearness and concentration

Re: Taking stuff to Twisted Anniversary

Brixton academy searches can be a little more rigorous than some, but it should pose no problem.

Twisted Eh? SWILL has VERY fond memories of their nights back in the day.
