Re: SWIM is still seeing visuals

is swim seeing visuals from MDMA? This is quite unheard of for swim and the only lasting visual distortion MDMA has ever left was this odd visual snow type thing.

Was the content of whatever swim took (pill, capsule, powder) tested or was it just down the hatch, because if it was some pill picked up at a party it could have had other chemicals in it and caused swims visuals... although not for a week... Even with swims highest dose LSD, DOM and Mescaline experiences, the visual afterglow faded in a few days... this is odd

what does everyone else think?

Re: SWIM is still seeing visuals

swim suspects it was mda. swim checked it on a database (although it doesn't mean that much) and was mdxx.

Re: SWIM is still seeing visuals

Swiy is probably only experiencing what they think or want to. Stop fueling the placebo effect with expectancies and desires and Swiy's issue will subside. If Swiy meant MDA by "mdxx" it would account for the visuals. Not a week out though.

This could be a legitimate problem, Don't write it off as placebo just yet... swim doesn't think that he likes the week-long lingering effects and obviously wouldn't report having so if it was desired... or at least the post would be bragging about it.

Take plenty of rest, drink loads of water and start eating very well of not doing so. wait it out and swiy should be fine. it is unlikely that MDA would cause this or really any visuals in swims opinion.

Re: SWIM is still seeing visuals

MDA is more relatively more hallucinogenic than MDMA and he's sometimes heard it referred to as mdxx. If its not a placebo it wouldn't hurt for that to be gotten out of the way, and the quickest cure for that is to be blunt. It sounded like the most likely situation to Swibf.

Re: SWIM is still seeing visuals

MDxx is used by pill reporting sites to report that there was a 3,4-methylenedioxy-n chemical on the pill, could be MDMA (add methampehtamine to the MD) MDA (add amphetamine to the MD) or any methylenedioxy chemical thus MDxx (the xx counting for the last bit of the chemical as it is not easily identified without proper equipment)

Most of swims lab-cats have found little to no visual activity with MDA (interestingly enough it's the chemical achieved right before the last step of synthing MDMA, only difference is the methyl)

Swims advice stands.

Re: SWIM is still seeing visuals

I concur - the heck with "What was it?" routines. Eat good food, rest up, take vitamins, and this should right itself very soon. If not - check back. Do you know others who were with SWIM who took this? If yes, what do they say?

Re: SWIM is still seeing visuals

They did see visuals while on it but they say no afterwards.

axdx added 127 Minutes and 52 Seconds later...

Hmm...swim has been reading up on migraines, which swim has suffered (has never had a migraine so guessing) since taking it and macropsia is a symptom. low serontonin seems to be the cause of migraines, which swim also has read about.

Possibly HPPD.

Good luck. post back if symptoms persist and there may be more need to worry.

hugs always help!
