Combinations - using Risperidone to stop LSD trips?

we have all heard of useing thorizine (chlorpromazine) to stop trips but what about useing Risperidone? i consulted erowid and found this experance report:

A few years ago I was prescribed Welbutrin for depression. Apparently I developed psychotic tendencies which could be attributed to the Welbutrin, so my psychiatrist prescribed for me Risperdol, an anti-psychotic. Why he didn't just take me off Welbutrin and prescribe another anti-depressant is beyond me.

One night I dropped four hits of LSD and proceeded to have a very intense trip. About 5 or 6 hours later it was time for me to take my usual dose of Risperdol. I was still tripping very hard, and was not expecting to come down for another 6 hours, but surprisingly enough, I was completely down within half an hour. I should have realized that this was going to happen as Risperdol is in the same class as Thorazine which is used to end bad trips in the hospital.

Some interesting side notes about Risperdol. In short, I hated this drug. It made me feel disconnected from the world. I'm usually a person with very intense emotions, but Risperdol seemed to suck all of it away from me. I didn't seem to care about anything. I enjoyed spending my time watching tv, and settled into a mundane existence. After taking the drug for some time I began periodically skipping doses. This was very pleasurable as I would begin to FEEL again, and my emotions were intensified by the previous numbness that seemed to envelope me. Overall I think Risperdol did more damage than good. Luckily enough, I have been free of all prescription drugs for over three years, and even stopped using psychedelics because I felt that I wasn't in the right state to use them and realized that I had begun to abuse them. It is only recently that I've felt confident enough to be able to use psychedelics in moderation and gain the best from them."

Risperadal made swim see purpleish-pinkish rectangles float across the sky. He also had the effects you describe of not caring about anything. Swim is always coming down off an acid trip after 5-6 hours however, without the administration of anything. Did swim try smoking a blunt after ther risperadal? It usually works wonders for bringing back a trip, weather it be mushrooms or lsd. In theroy it shouldnt work, but it doesnt mean it won't. Acid works on almost all the seratonin receptors and the 2-cb recptor if swimisnt mistaken, while risperadal is supposed to be a potent andhighly selective dopamine antagonist. It could have been effective as this however since it would make things less pleasurable, and pleasure is the catalyst of tripping. I mean, if your in a happy mindset, youll trip balls.
So basically it proabbly doesnt effect the same chemicals or receptor sites, but as with 98% of psychiatric drugs, read the labels. It will pretty much always say somehting like "we are not sure how this product works". Swim knows nueronitin for sure does this, but is pretty sure it is the same for risperadal. Also you should try n detox ur liver n gallbladder man. Those psych drugs fuck that shit up hardcore, and afterwords after feeling real stoned, youll be amazingly less disconnected. That is, if you were like swim with it, and never felt 100% right since. It made a huge dif for swim, and if you have similar stuff hopefully it will for you to. Also, you should kill your psychiatrist. Swim highly reccomends it, as shrinks of all types are bad bad bad people who deserve death in a slow and vicious manner.
Thats my two cents anyway. Swim has never taken them together, but has experiance with both seperately.

Risperidone is both a serotonine and dopamine antagonist, so in theory it could be very helpful in case of a overdose with many drugs.
