Can SWIM Inject Dihydrocodeine/DF118s 30mg Tablets?

As above... My pet kangaroos' pills are 30mg Dihydrocodeine..
My roo crushed up said pills, added a little water and cooked the solution.
The little 'Roo was shocked when the solution failed to gel up (as most pills contain cellulose to prevent IV). 'Roo added a tiny amount of citric acid as 'Roo was left with a small amount of powdery residue at the bottom of the spoon.
There was not half as much powder as what went in to the spoon, so 'Roo thinks majority of the Dihydrocodeine has dissolved into the water and 'Roo assumes that this residue is the talc substance that's added to the pills.

Anyways 'Roo drew the solution up through a pin using a filter. The end result is clear. 'Roo doesn't want to IV it, but was considering plugging it, would this be safe? Also out of curiosity, would it be safe to IV or IM it?

Please remember my lil 'Roo is a very experienced opiate/opioid user, poor 'Roo just feels like she needs something to make the misery go away as she is suffering H withdrawals and cannot get to score until later, but has tons of Df118s and Mogadon (nitrazepam) within her reach! 'Roo is aware of her relapse into H use... But this really cannot be avoided at the minute, as it really is the only "coping mechanism" 'Roo has right now!

Aaah, you know what... I made my 'Roo think about this and 'Roo decided she would just rather take them orally then risk it through an IV (or a bum plug urrrgh!).... I made 'Roo read some scary things RE injecting DHC to sh*t her up enough to never ever risk that!

Yeah don't do that lol, just pop em or crush them into a powder and make a hot tea with them, hits you faster. Swim used to do this, tastes disgusting but you can add lots of sugar/honey. Have Swiy stopped taking methadone now?

My 'Roo is doing her detox off methadone and abstaining from all opiates/opioids... Monday was her last dose of 17ml/mg of oral Methadone... She hates it and wants a life back and not to just exist. It took her since October 2006 when she was 75mg of methadone to get to 17ml/mg.. too long. Too many relapses! She just wants to be free of all..

My 'Roo had a binge on H last week (started by the massive hangover 'Roo experienced from the Viagra experiment she performed last week).. had last shot on Saturday night..! She scared herself by how much she put in the spoon... She'd purchased a very big teenth of very good quality skag (for 'Roos area) on Friday night... by Saturday night she she had around half left... she put around 0.2 points on a foil at 6pm.. ('Roo still enjoys a smoke of H as well as IV) 'Roo was happy and chilled and nodded slightly... but at 9pm 'Roo got angry at herself for letting herself binge out again and thought "f*ck it" and put the remaining half a G in the spoon (leaving herself with a point for morning). 'This was 'Roos biggest hit to date (She would normally put in around 0.3 pts) and 'Roos b/f thought she was going to go over.... She didn't... she was higher than high..... but was absolutely mortified/shocked all at once, to find that ('Roo finds this hard to explain and doesn't know if anyone will understand what she felt) she knew that this wasn't what she wanted anymore.... 'Roo thinks that it's because she had finally had that "ultimate" hit every junkie wants to feel and wasn't all that impressed.... (weird swim knows, but so is swims 'Roo) It wasn't because the gear was shit, or that she wasn't high enough.. she was.. It's anti climax syndrome. 'Roo spent Sunday thinking about it and was very confused! She came to the conclusion that she just didn't want to do it anymore. Not that she dislikes the gear or the feeling of being shat faced... She just feels like the itch that was heroin and other opiates/opioids has been scratched!

Anyways... 'Roo had tons of DHCs' and Nitrazepam (mogadon)to use for any left over W/Ds from the binge (as well as her normal dose of Methadone) but decided to detox completely and try and change her life around (she actually wants to) so decided to cluck from both the green and the H together (gonna feel shit without the skag, may as well do it properly)... 'Roo had a bad day yesterday morning... she was weak and felt like she wanted "something"... she thought about what she was about to do and scared herself silly.... so much so the remaining Methadone was taken to the pharmacy for disposal and DHCs' were thrown down the waste disposal system.... All she has kept is the Nitrazepam (for emergency use only) which is locked away in the medicine cabinet ('Roos' fella has been given the key and instructed to administer should 'Roo go on an insane rampage from clucking and lack of sleep or if 'Roo weakens and wants to score!)

So far... 'Roo feels expectedly shit, but not overwhelmingly so... All the Nitrazepams remain and she feels she is coping... 'Roo is lucky to have had some very good advice from a someone who has just been through similar and would like to thank him (Oggy) very much and very good support etc from partner, friends and family too!

'Roo knows the worst will come tonight and in the morrow and for a few days after... But she's prepared to go through it and will do all she can to stick with it.... What's a few weeks feeling shit for getting your life back? 'Roo will take it step at a time and will do her best to remain positive.... (There are post it notes all over her house with little positive messages written on them), drink plenty and keep up repairing her body with protein and multi vits!

I think the same thing would happen as if codeine were to be injected. Massive histamine release. Swelling of the face and throat, pulmonary edema. Possibly death. Don't inject them, oral or suppository is the best

Swim is so happy for you, you WILL do it. Best not to take to many nitrazepams. If you can wait till day 5 before you have one and only take 1 or 2 for sleep only. You most likely wont sleep for those 5 days but you need to let yourself suffer! Its very important. Its the ones that suffer from cold turkey without the help of drugs that make it. Its great that you don't like heroin anymore, Swim doesn't like it either, he see's it as a negative.

After your suffering you will be reborn. It still takes about 5 days after to build strength back but you will feel so bright and wonderful.

The power of positivity.

'Roo totally agrees about having to suffer to get better! Yes most of her friends who have done the cold turkey have remained clean for years! That's one of the reasons for doing it.... She can't accept a methadone maintenance script for the rest of her life just to exist.
'Roo wants a life that's free and she doesn't think she will ever be able to get to the point of being clean by tapering off green and it's going to be just as painful to cluck off 1 or 2 ml a day as it would be at the level she's at now! Make sense?

'ROO is feeling it now but, aching everywhere, legs hurt, feel weak (physically) and drained (mentally)... ah well, things will get better eventually. Nitrazepams as SWIM says, she doesn't want to have to use them yet... They have been saved for the restless nights that are forthcoming! She's trying to rest at the minute, but can't stay still for too long!

Have hot baths, sauna would be perfect! Don't watch TV, read interesting information. Listen to Tracy Chapman, Cross Roads. Swims mother just came home with it and she put it on, Swim used to hate things like that but now he can understand it and her lyrics make perfect sense.

Swim is on MSN if you need to chat again but Swim understands what your going through, you probably have no energy to type or even sit upright. Just hang in there and remember Swim is here for you any time.

Also counting the days and hours since your last dose is a good motivation tool.

My Roo is methadone free and loving the sunshine at last!
My Roo sampled a small amount of heroin 1 week back as a favour to someone to
sample purity. Roo said it was bangin stuff and was scared that she'd be tempted by this brown goodness... Roo was exceptionally brave and kept it at just the one shot.
She felt a little worse for wear the next day, but nothing to write home about. Nothing compared to the agony of methadone withdrawl.

Roo said that it took her around 3/4 weeks to feel near "normal" after withdrawing from Methadone. Roo is still taking a step at a time. She will not say never again to skag, because she knows that she will never be the same person as she was before using smack and that underneath everything there will always be the smack head inside of her wanting out.... But she's good at the minute!
