ecstasy and depression?

Swim has given up taking ecstasy after a few months of heavy use (probably taking 5 pills a week) Swim went through a sort of honey moon and loved it. However, swim has given up and feels depressed like never before. Has an uncomfortable mind and doesn't know what to do. This is 6 weeks on after giving up. Isit possible to recover from this depression and is there anything swim can do?

SWIM should eat healthy foods and get a normal (for SWIM) night;s sleep. Vitamins are always advisable. This depressive state should pass. But if MDMA masked a pre-existent depression in SWIM - likely it has returned with some interest. Masking psychological symptoms with drugs/alcohol tend to make the problems resurface with greater force once the chemical band-aid has been removed. The depression itself will need to be addressed, or SWIM is at risk for reliance on a chemical. This can lead to such wonders as alcoholism and drug-addiction (one and the same).

If SWIM was fine before hand, then SWIM should just be patient. It will pass.
