lets get this started. Don't mind the crappy grammar lol. Anywho Swim is a 28 year old male, been using opiates on and off for bout 11 years. when swim was 17 he first tried the lovely but a bitch of a drug heroin, was on a 4 year in and out of detox rehab relapse jail then relapse detox and over and over, swim felt like his body aged 15 years in that 4 year stint. well finally in may of 2001 round this date swim was on his last run he thought cuz he got arrested again and got the book more like the entire encyclopedia britannica thrown at him. running from the long arm of mr law to long. Swim did a 6 month jail stint and 2 years probate of strict drug test and counseling. still drank on the weekends but no junk, got life back, family and friends trust back, great girl friend, drivers liscens back finally. well swim got off probate with a good clean record now. great to be coved by dads insurance that covered lawyers and substance abuse. well after probate swim only smoked and drank, then one day at work thanks ups he blew out his shoulder and was out of work for 9 months, ups got a great insurance also. so swim got disability pay and rehab for the disabled shoulder. well the docs off the bat gave swim 160 10mg vicodent, take 4 times a day. cuz to see the sports doctor would take 6 weeks due to doc coverage and waiting list to see, swim wasn't going to travel to conn 3 hrs to see a doc sooner so was good on waiting, why not got money regardless and got time to chill and get high. well once he took

2 of the hydros insted of 1 as directed 40 min later he felt a familair warm blanket of sorts. swim never messed with hydros b4 or any pain meds, well he was off now. 5 months later swim was over copping a bundle of sweet H again and shooting 3 at a time, spending alot of money, selling stealing again, lost a lot of weight but looked good lol. swim is 6' 198 lbs but bloated from drinking a lot but slimmed to a 170 and no pot belly, anyway swim ended up kicking on his own cold turkey and bounced to another state for 3 years, well the last year in the new state swim accuired a great pill connect and was popping 15 10mg hydros and 3 mg of the green bar xanax a day. Well the bars were good when the supply was good then had dry spells in he kinda stopped the xans all together and just hydros.

ok swim is on his 7th day of cold turkey and still feels really shitty, cuz he moved back up north. thought heroin was bad to kick this is worse then the heroin kick, well it feels longer but not as stong, no sleep till the 6-7th long night only 4 hours in that swim slept total of 8 hours all week, does pills take longer to kick cuz swim is able to get five 10mg hydros to take maybe 5mgs to feel better? to soon to chirp but swim needs the energy to go out and seek new work, dont wanna go thru all this shit to get back on the ride again!

Also swim had been messing with xanax also. past 4 months on and off with them, the last month bout 5mg daily 2mg moring and like 2 or 3mg a nite depending on mood. now before swim took his wonderfull 24 hour ride back to his home town he got 14 2mg xanax for the way and 30 10mg vics, now swims question is now day 7 without the vics and feel better but not as he thought, stopped last wed with the percs had some tramadol to hold over till friday and took his last 2mg friday moring. now hasnt got without a bar no more then 7 days but didnt think he had a physical problem with them. thinking twice now bout that cuz kicking heroin in the can felt better then swim feels now at home in front of the tv and he aint kidding!! any thoughts would be helpfull thanks swim!

SWIy should not kick the xanax habit cold turkey. It is very dangerous to suddenly discontinue a benzo regimen. I am not talking about a week long flu like methodone withdrawal, but rather seizures that can kill.
Ween SWIself off of xanax .5mg at a time every few days if SWIy wants to get off that. I'm sure someone else will have some more info for your other questions. I am not as experienced in that area. Good luck.

swim been clean off benzos now for 24 days and 3 days off hydrocodone. stopped hydrocodone for 10 days but shoulder pain made go to the docs for a 40 script of 7.5mgs vicos. feel pretty good on day 3 a lil flu like symptoms but is up and about. swim will never touch benzos again in his life, kickin them was worse then kicking smack i.m.o. still feels down and out tho mentaly. swim will play with opiates cuz of cronic back and shoulder pain. swim will cop some H in the nar future once he gets money owed to him from the goverment. kickin the opiates is a walk in the park from the xanax. felt like pure death times 5.
