Penis plant is what most people call a variety of Trichocereus Bridgesii (Trichcereus Bridgesii var. monstrose)

Wikipedia has a brief article on it : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penis_Plant There are much more detailed articles on this plant around the web for sure, have a look at Google.

There are 2 common types, A and B. A grows as one long penis and B pups a lot and starts to clump. Swim thinks thats the right way round for A and B anyway....

TBM is quite a slow grower, but their mescaline content is alleged by many people to be quite high, usually around the 1% mark (dried cactus).
