Tramadol didn't work?

Several weeks ago I took 150mg of tramadol on an empty stomach with ZERO results?!

The next day i upped the dosage to 250mg.... once again... zero results

i felt no euphoria, no tingling, basically none of the things induced from opiates or in this case.. synthetic opiates

is it a possibility they had some type of delayed release on them? They were Ultram's and were tanish/light brown

any help would be appreciated

Tramadol is an atypical "non narcotic" opioid. Basically its not like a typical opiate, or opioid, the effects are different, some even find it mildly stimulating. My Ferret has heard of a quite signifigant minority of people who get little to no recreational effects from tramadol. Were swiys pills ultram or ultram er (extended release)? My ferret can get reasonable effects from 200 mg of tramadol.

im not sure if they were extended release or not. That is probably where the problem lies. So do you think that if i was to chew them and break the extended release it would work?

They were most likely sustained release.
Has SWIY gotten pleasant effects from tramadol in the past?
SWIY could be one of those people it doesn't work on.

SWIM can get very nice effects from just 50-100mg.

No it was SWIM's first time ever experimenting with tramadol.

I wish SWIM could say the same for having a pleasant experience with the stuff. 20$ SWIM will never get back

so would chewing them work?

crushing them into a fine powder (or chewing real good) should kill the timed release, if the pills SWIY has are, in fact, time release tramadol.
Good luck, if SWIY still gets no effects from them, it's quite possible SWIY is in the group of people who get nothing fun from them.

alright SWIM will be sure to crush them up next time and maybe parachute or put in a different capsule

SWIM should be aware that tramadol acts as a mild(ish) SSRI. In other words it can alter SWIM's brain chemistry in odd ways. So it should not be taken for a long period of time. If one does, the withdrawl is mostly (from gathered statements of users) typical of stopping an SSRI abruptly - bad moods, insomnia, disturbed sleep-patterns, possible suicidal ideation/homicidal ideation.
