Dose - recreational Cheratussin AC use

SWIM's monkey just received a 120mL bottle of Cheratussin AC from his doctor for treatment of a sore throat. The prescribed dose is 10mL every 4 hours as needed. He's pretty sure the solution is 100mg Guifenissen/10mg codeine per 5mL.

The monkey is wondering how to best enjoy the 120mL bottle - should he perform an extraction? Or just down half the bottle and see how he feels? He'd rather speak w/a swimmer who knows a bit about this chemical before possibly risking his life.

My monkey bought the exact same bottle a few hours ago and has used it many times. He usually drinks half the bottle for 120 mg codeine, but this time he downed the entire bottle for all 240 mg. The Guaifenesin is completely harmless even at high doses. He recommends you chug however much you desire depending on tolerance.

SIDE EFFECTS: Side effects of guaifenesin are uncommon. In doses higher than those typically used, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, or drowsiness may occur.

SWIM's monkey consumed 1/4 bottle and felt a mild codeine buzz - this encouraged the monkey to promptly consume the remaining 3/4 over a 1hr period cautiously increasing the effects of the codeine.
