Drug info - Wormwood Extract

Anyone know anything about wormwood extract?


They sell it all over the place in different forms (liquid and resin). Well I have both and trying to make some sort of absinthe, I really dont care about the taste, just trying to get the mind effect. I know it is the active ingrediant in absinthe and contains thujone which is the active chemical.


What should I do with this stuff? Is there any simple way to like put so many drops of the liquid in vodka and let it sit for a week?


Or what about the green sticky resin? Can I just put a certain amount of that in vodka or grain and let it sit for a while? Anyone have any suggestions or experience? I have read alot on this and there are so many ways to make absinthe and everyone has their own opinion.

I have made absinth and all I have to say is the taste is soooo damn bad good luck trying to get it down. The trick is toadd the other dozen ingrediants just to help the taste. As to the ratios look online it depends on how strong you want, I used 3-4 cups mixed in a 1.75 of voka and let is sit in a dark closet for about a week, then pour threw a cheese cloth or something like that, I just used a t-shirt, then you are left with this nasty army green liquir. Good luck nothing really kills the after taste. If you know anyone that knowa how to extract the thujon out of the wormwood, I'm hopeing that won't taste too bad and even if it does I would think you wouldn't need to ingest as much as you would with the absinth. Let me know if you know any one that knows how to extract,ok

well they sell wormwood extract and essential wormwood oils containing high amounts of thujone. You should be able to just add that to some strong vodka and get the same effect right ? Probobly would taste like shit but who cares. As long as you get that thujone/alcohol effect right ? Isnt that what everyone is really after ?

I would just buy 2-3 grams of some 10x resin, and let it dissolve in some strong alcohol, most likely everclear. Honestly I do not know how many grams of the 10x wormwood resin you would need to put in a bottle of everclear to make it potent but this sounds better/easier than using the plant or oils. swim is making an everclear/thc concoction right now, and might throw a few grams of the 10x resin in there to insure its power.

fuck it I just put 2 grams into a bottle of grain, well see what happens in a few weeks.

They usually put an ounce of Wormwood in alcohol, so 2 grams of 10x would just be a little less than some recipes. 20grams worth instead of 28grams.

I will put a couple drops of them wormwood extract essence to make up for it. After that I will put some hysupp and anise for flavering and make my own version of ansbinthe, mostly just alcohol with alot of thujone in it is really what im looking for, not the og. absinthe taste.

recently swim experimented with a kava tincture from the store and loved it so he looked at what else they had and they and a wormwood extract caught his eye. this is what it looks like and it contains 60% alcohol but not sure about actual thujone content
