Help me identify this substance?

A friend of SWIM recently gave him a small baggy of a strange, white powdered substance. SWIM thought it was cocaine until he got a better look at it. It is far too fine to be cocaine. It almost looks like baking powder. SWIM asked his friend what it was and his friend told him he had no idea. SWIM and his friend arranged that once they had identified the substance they would use it. It is odorless, colorless, and, as stated before, resembles baking powder. SWIM believes it is methamphetamine (he has never actually seen powdered meth before) but isn't quite positive.

Your not going to get much help here. there are thousands of orderless colourless powders. could be drugs could be rat poison. It is not at all worth it to try and guinea pig it.

Well...SWIM's friend slipped it out of a stash in his neighbor's grow room. This SWIM knows for a fact. Hope that helps.

So swiy stole it from your neighbor not even knowing what it is.And it was in a grow area.It could be pesticide.could be fertilizer.If the neighbor was nice enough to let swiy even in the grow room why would swiy steal from this neighbor that has put trust in swiy..

First of all mate...get your facts straight before you charge me or anyone else for that matter. Read again. SWIM didn't steal it. SWIM's friend did. SWIM isn't responsible for his friend's actions.

Second...when was it EVER said that the friend's neighbor allowed him in to the room?

swim thinks its messed up to make someone feel ignorant and the whole 'arguing online' shit is just lame. some swimmers are really sensitive...extremely offended...swim was happy to find this site. very resourceful, and swim could talk and relate to people like herself. without the hostility..

Thats besides the point, without chemical testing there is no way anyone on this forum will have even a slight clue as to what it is. For all any of our friends know it could be a chemical used to grow something maybe calcium, or some other substance. Search on line for reagent kits to test it and get some kind of clue as to what it is.

SWIM insufflated plenty of white powdery molly, but hers did have a subtle chemical scent to it...

dont take this the wrong way but swim things swiy would be nuts to snort somethin they have no idea what it is lol (if swiy even planned on snorting it, sry swim is jumping to conclusions)

where the hell did swiy find it? ehhh swim doesnt think its worth the time and effort. anyway there is no coke in the US , its all been cut and stomped on so many times passed through so many people by the time swim gets it it's just a bag of No Dos.

I am sorry that you feel that way, but aside that we do not allow pointless discussions about what an unidentified powder is and the stupidity of consuming an unknown powder, we are not going to help thieves identifying their stolen goods.

Protection: think about your actions and consider to return it. You are in this just as much as your friend. But whatever you do, make sure your neighbour does not get into trouble through your actions. I have read to many news stories about grow rooms that busted because of stealing kids getting into trouble.
