Dexedrine vrs Adderall

swim is wondering why there is so much information and response about adderall. What about dexedrine? swim was prescribed dex about a month ago and really likes it. swim was told that dex is more potent then adderall if so wouldn't more people prefer dex? Is swim missing out by not getting adderall instead? will anyone with experience or knowledge comparing the two please help swim out. swim thanks you

Adderall is a racemic mixture of Dex and Lev amphetamine while the Dexedrine is purely the Dextroamphetamine. The Dex isomer is the psychoactive one which creates the greater potency/recreational value. Swibf has found levoamphetamines to be completely worthless and exhibiting the unpleasant stimulant side effects; though a limited number of board members swear by it.

swim was just wondering why no one ever talks about dex especially if it is the better for recreation use. swim was a heavy meth user until it got him 3 years in prison. swim and his doc relize that swim was using the meth in a way of self medicating. swim was wondering which was more similiar to the meth high dex or adderall? swim does have add thats why he got the px. swim was surprised because of his meth addiction. so swim is just curious on the differences of the two. would you agree that dex is better then adderall? swim thanks you

The high experienced with amphetamine and methamphetamine are essentially the same save for the greater potency and length of effect with methamphetamine. Most street methamphetamine is purely the dextro isomer so Dexedrine would better represent that of the methamphetamine. Swibf has the oppinion that Dexedrine is superior to Adderall while Desoxyn (d-meth) betters them both.

There is very much a difference actually. There are two optical isomers of amphetamine. Adderall is made up of four equal masses of 3 different salts of amphetamine. 0.25 = d-amphetamine saccharate, 0.25 = d-amphetamine sulfate, 0.25 = d/l-amphetamine sulfate, 0.25 = d/l-amphetamine aspartate. While Dexedrine is simply d-amphetamine sulfate. This effectively gives Adderall a 0.625 d-amphetamine equivalence to Dexedrine and that is even ignoring the greater masses of the other Adderall salts. When you factor in Swibf's belief and experience that suggests nothing of value comes from l-amphetamines Adderall drags its mangled corpse accross the finish line with a mere 0.6 value relative to Dexedrine.

swim finally tried some adderall and I must say no doubt dex is way better of the two. Swim also started to snort his dex, actually dextoamphetamine(generic) and was way smooth hardly any taste, no dye's and the beads crushed up extremely easy and fine. Swim was wondering anyway to smoke dex???

Swibf's got to first obtain the freebase of the amphetamine before its smokable. The sulfate salt has a melting point around 300c? if Swibf remembers right. The amine is destroyed before it reaches a boiling point.

They are both very similar. Depending on the strength of Adderall and Dexedrine. Adderall is probably one of the more popular drugs that are prescribed for ADD/ADHD, but Dexedrine is also another one, though not quite as popular as Adderall.

All Amphetamines produce a similar high, and they work on the same areas of the brain. Of course there is always a minor difference as well as differences in other people, but they are both psychostimulants. If you want to get really technical than the chemical breakdown can be found by typing in "Adderall" and "Dexedrine" in Google, and then clicking the Wikipedia links. This will show what breaks these medications down, but you will notice that the effects are quite the same. =-)

All amphetamines are far from being equal, but yes Adderall is essentially 60% mg for mg what Dexedrine can dish out. Next time Swiy's time got a solid 12hrs to burn quantify the ultimate equality of 8x5mg Desoxyn to that of a Vick's nasal tube extracted/swallowed just meet 80% yield of the l-methamphetamine. Swiy'll likely find it difficult to differentiate between the two. (Those two being the baseline and the l-methamphetamine, they fuck Swibf over to the placebo control group every time.)

The l-amphetamine filler salts in the Adderall only seem to produce adverse side effects for Swibf. Still Swibf and just about everyone else has a script for Adderall in place of more gifted compounds such as the Dexedrine or Desoxyn for two reasons insurance(most dictate which meds are "approved" and actually have coverage... Swibf promptly migrated back to Adderall after the 90x30mg=$5 turned into 180x5mg=$89(Desoxyn), same dilemma with Dexedrine as well.) and the built in dosage in pill range(5-30mg compared to 5mg Desoxyn, Swibf would think people are deterred because they would see it as blowing their dosage load the instant the first script is filled).
