What does your blue rabbit think of threshold doses? do they help preparing you for higher doses? can they still induce panic attacks or anxiety? are they useful to do something else?
Blue rabbit turned the corner on weed, can't use it anymore, he worries to much about his heart! but knows it's only on his head, would threshold doses be able to give him another panic attack? |

Re: Threshold Doses, Bearly Noticeable Doses
Research the meaning of "Set and Setting" regarding LSD25. This will tell you that one should have a positive 'set' before any psychedelic experience. The 'set' infers one's state of mind - happy, positive, looking forward to the experience. Or - scared, nervous, anxiety-stricken over the possibility of a bad trip?
Setting means the actual location where one will be during the experience: A comfortable home away from unexpected visitors. With friends one trusts and loves. So forth. Or: A noisy city in a dirty club surrounded by drunks and police? Guess which would be a better setting. Small doses of LSD25 - say 20 - 30 micrograms(mcg), will give one a small taste of what these drugs are capable of. But no one is ever truly prepared for this experience. Read as much literature from people who have actually tried/used LSD25. Throw away the government scare-pamphlets. |

Re: Threshold Doses, Bearly Noticeable Doses
Oh no! blue rabbit has tried LSD once, And though it was a Low Dose, 80 mcg probably, and he couldnt fully enjoy it being with friends who didnt know, it was the most insightful day of his life!
BUT since he "turned the corner" on weed, he had trouble handling being more than a third high. I guess my question would be is it posible that blue rabbit can have a good experience on lsd even if it can't on thc? or should I get very comfortable with thc before meeting lucy again? |

Re: Threshold Doses, Bearly Noticeable Doses
In swim's opinion, if swiy is not comfortable with a ganja high, swim doubts an lsd experience of any strength would be any more comfortable.

But there's no way to predict this for you, choco. Taking a mild dose and going into things positively, I really don't see things going too badly for you. And what Panthers said is pretty accurate. Getting your feet wet with a mild dose gives you an idea... but taking things to the next level is just that, a very very different experience. |

Re: Threshold Doses, Bearly Noticeable Doses
In regards to the posts about cannabis trips VS LSD trips
There are no "stepping stones" in the world of chemicals and drugs, some seem to think that LSD is the end all be all psychedelic and everything is childs-play compared to it. this is not true at all. Swim has had heavy cannabis smoking sessions that felt like low-medium doses of Phencyclidine and really gave him a mind-fucking that was quite unpleasant and made LSD feel like a far off dream in the midst of wanting to sober up quick from the hellish cannabis experience. Everyone reacts differently to drugs and this must be decided by the user what is the most intense, scary or earth-shattering. e_choco_o: You may have a comfortable LSD trip if the setting is right and one takes a low dose to get their grip on the substance. In a personal note, swim does not like cannabis and feels that it riddles him with anxiety and mental traps, But he is an experienced user of psychedelics and finds them to be his niche in the crazy world of chemicals and psychedelic anomalies... In conclusion, one may have a great time on LSD and not so on cannabis, it's highly possible and not unheard of. One thing to keep in mind is like panthers007 said, set and setting are a very important factor to take in. hope that helped ![]() |

Re: Threshold Doses, Bearly Noticeable Doses
I disagree with luxifer and eastwood, and completely agree with samadhi.
Swim is sometime confused, scared and paranoid on cannabis, while he never had a badtrip on any psychedelic (be it psilocybine, lsd, K, DMT, or any other substance.) It all depends how much you can let yourself go in the trip. SWIM never really cared about what people around me tought of me, except under the influence of cannabis. |

blue rabitte says: ok, thanks to all ill see what happens, the thing is, maybe I Would have a great time on lsd but if i dont it's not about waiting an hour like on weed to get back, it's atleast 6 hours! I guess I could give it a go, or maybe just let some time go by.
