How many grams would be classified as intent?

I tried the FSE but maybe used to many words when looking for this topic. Well SWIM asked mew about this and i didnt quite know what to say to him so i was wandering if anyone knew about how much (in grams) could one carry of magic mushrooms without getting charged with intent.This is because he intends on taking some shrooms he has to a gathering of friends camping one day. He knows he is not likely to get caught, but has never taken anything more than 4g out of his house at one time. He will probably be taking more than this when he goes camping.Anyone know the amount one could pull off before being charged with intent if they get caught for whatever reason?

I assume that you mean intent to supply right? If so then you are asking about the law in your country. We have a forum that specializes in law. However; how should we know what country you are talking about??

Don't get caught, then you won't have to worry about it. Keep it all in a bag and don't have a scale anywhere near you. Police can use their own discretion in these types of situations, it ain't cut and dry.

I do not imagine they train dogs to smell for mushrooms... as the dog would go crazy every time it smelled a common mushroom in the forest. I am sure it would be far to much hassle.

4 grams would most likely not be distribution. over an oz it would probably get hairy. Swim would suggest obeying traffic laws and having a good hiding place!

Don't get caught with scales and multiple baggies. An acquaintance recenty got his house sacked by the cops, he had a kilo in his attic which they somehow didn't find :P

However, he had a half O for general personal use in his room, and they found scales as well. Apparently he would have got away with all this as personal use, but they also found hundreds of baggies, which they then intepreted as intent to supply.

I dont think there is any real limit either way on how much is considered personal and how much would be considered intent to supply. Amount of a drug is just one of the things they will take into account when trying to bring a case against you. Other things include baggies, scales as well as your personal statement to the police if you were caught. Ive heard cases where people have got away with personal for ounces of class A drugs and yet if SWIY had one gram of shroom and told the police SWIY was selling it to a friend then he would be charged with intent to supply!

Best thing SWIY could do is only take as much as he thinks he will need, keep it in one bag so it looks like its only for SWIY, and lastly make sure if anyone catches SWIY he tells the police its only for personal use then get a lawyer to make sure he doesnt incriminate himself further! oh and make sure SWIYs friends dont tell the police they got shrooms from him if he gets caught!!!

Bad advice dude, most plastic bags sealed or not will allow the oder of drugs to pass through, unless you buy specificly oder free ones. But even then its been sugested that these dont work either and its more or less just a marketing scam.

The amount of drugs consider as intent for sale, distribution, etc. all depends on swiy's locality. Please look up the laws in said state or country, as this is the only was to insure staying within the bounds of the law. Try some of the support websites that are specific to magic mushroom use because someone there may be knowlegable in this matter. SWIM's guess would be anything over 1/2 oz in most places- remember most places observe no difference between wet/dry/potency/weight of bag/etc. TOTAL WEIGHT SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN 14g!! This is just someone's guess.

As always, try to ride clean. NEVER EVER SHIT/DEAL/BREAK THE LAW WHERE SWIYOU SLEEPs! Another tip is to never carry more than one dose on swiy's person.
