SWIM needs HELP and ADVICE with prep of AMANITA!!!!
SWIms friend has aquired some fresh amanita muscaria(fly agaric) and needs to no how to prepare!!!!!PLEASE HELP!!!and yes swimis tryingto UTFSE now but any1 who has experience please HELP!!!swimis under the impression that to convert into muscimol must cook in oven for ten minutes at 170 celsius??is this correct??whats a good dose etc???cheers in advance!!!exp users only answer please!!! ![]()

Preheat the oven to 140F(60C). Cut the cap into 8 parts - like a pizza. Slice the stem thinly. Lay in an oven-proof glass dish. Place in oven until dry - like a soda cracker <SNAP>. Place dried material in a pan with water. Slowly heat to a boil and let simmer for 20 minutes. Add a little olive oil(this aids digestion and helps prevent nausea). Stir well. Mushroom Soup! Tastes a bit like chicken. Go VERY slowly. Two identical mushroom growing next to each other may vary widely in potency - one may be inert, while another very strong. Hence there is no such thing as a "standard dose." |

cheers...much appreciated!!!1nce dry,what weight of dried amanita is good to boil for say 2 swimmers??whilst dying heaps of liquid pooled in dish should swim tip out??i understand the dose variation etc...how long is onset of action???so swim can judge if initial dose is not happening and can adjust and retry etc??

Just drying sunlight will do it. The 140F oven speeds it. Two monkeys should not go over one amanita muscaria each to begin with. Effects usually are noted in 15 to 20 minutes and may continue to climb for an hour. But these Little People vary greatly with one's metabolism.

when swim was oven drying heaps of orangy liquid pooled in the bottom of swims dish!!swim tipped out and proceeded..swim left in oven for around 4 hours last night and then placed in hot water cupboard overnight and whats left is an orangy/brown mess!!! is this still going to be sweet??it has been raining heavily for days and swim presumes the extra liquid is just H2O and obviously will need to get rid of this to dry,but as swim has never done before swim thought theyd check!!!
swims friend has previously brought a A.Muscaria from a local head shop and it was dry but it still looked perfectly like it did fresh.SWIM doubts these will look like they did fresh,whats the difference?? What have your experineces with A.Muscaria been like panthers?? cheers for ya help,very much appreciated!And sorry for my ignorance on the subject,just never been something swims considered trying until now. |
