What weight is a 'point'?
What weight is a 'point'? SWIM has heard this term used before, for example "this costs XX a point."

Re: What weight is a 'point'?
That is what SWIM initially thought, but why would prices for cocaine be quoted in terms of points, especially at $xx per point? Urban dictionary says a point is 1.75g, but this is the only reference to this term SWIM can find.

Re: What weight is a 'point'?
I'm not sure what cocaine prices are in America, so I can't comment, but price discussion is forbidden, anyway.
And when I looked at the word "point" on urban dictionary, it talks about 0.1g... |

Re: What weight is a 'point'?
Later on it says: "1.75 grams of powdered drug usually referring to cocaine as known as a teener or half of an eight ball."

Re: What weight is a 'point'?
Slang for the day.
In most instances, Point means a tenth of a gram. .1g 100mg That being said, a point could weigh anywhere from 60mg-120mg, depending on your dealer and their scale. A point is normally the smallest amount that can be purchased for heroine, cocaine/crack, and meth(amphetamine). |

Re: What weight is a 'point'?
In the context that SWIM heard it used a point being 0.1g would not have made sense. Is there any other explanation?

Re: What weight is a 'point'?
Maybe desperate individuals want 0.4 instead of getting a half gram. Or maybe people can give any quantity, like 2.2g, and it's 22 points at $x per point or some shit. SWIM'd be interested to know.

Re: What weight is a 'point'?
Point is .1g or 100mg. Swim uses this term often.
Used most often for referring to cocaine. Quality affects price. $4 per point all the way to $10 per point. Used when talking about overall value or quality of a large amount, not sold in points. |

Re: What weight is a 'point'?
To elaborate on the term, swim lives in Costa Rica and folks here use the term 'punta' or 'point' when referring to coke. It is .1g and is sold in a small bag. Here for decent quality shit it costs around 5 bucks per point and is enuff for a large line good for 1-2 hrs tops.

Re: What weight is a 'point'?
in french slang, the word refers to a smallish line of cocaine, no weight in particular.

Re: What weight is a 'point'?
Maybe it has to do with cocaine making people act like a pinhead?
Dunno. But no can give an accurate answer. Have your Llama invest in a scale. |
