new to salvia

My mate swim just got a delivery of dried salvia ,he told me that he tried to smoke it as a rollie ,not just 1 but a few ,he even made a bong that didnt even work ,it just made hime dizzy and he also told me he had a few alchohol drinks before ,after he drank that and then smoked what he had ,he didnt feel anything but dizzyness and he told me the next day he had some wild dreams ,he asks if drink will affect his ,lol he carnt say ,let me say will drink stop the affects of the salvia if he has drunk alchohol ,what he wants is the true affects of salvia ,i told him yeah but dont drink and stop smoking the green stuff if you want the salvia to work .am i rite in telling him ??
